Yeah, but what about cheapskates like me? I'd rather spend a few days figuring, re-figuring & constructing the thing than a big wad of cash.

IR block is a total scam. Its just a product that feeds off peoples fear. IR CAN NOT SEE THROUGH YOUR WALLS. Ir is used to see hot air ESCAPING the house. So you can cover your whole house in IR block, hell wrap your cock in it, it wont matter. As soon as you vent your hot air IR is able to see it. If IR was able to see through walls, it would never be able to be used in court as they would need a warrant to search your house with IR. IR is used as one of many TOOLS to obtain a warrant to search. This is used to show a judge huge plumes of red hot air coming out of a shed for 12 straight hours at night. Combine that with garbage searches and power consumption reviews and the cops will try to build a case to get a warrant. Hot water tank wrap (essentially what "IR block" is) willl not prevent any of this!

Buying a tent is so much cheaper. People don't realize that by the time they buy all the parts individually, it comes out to more than you would've paid if you just bought it. Plus you'll end up using PVC pipes and shit while you can buy one with metal pipes for cheaper. If you do save money it won't be more than 20 bucks and it'll be a far inferior product... u have to make holes for vents, holes for wires, mesh screens for passive intake, etc.

People don't realize that when you buy the parts individually, you have to buy all those individual parts at retail prices while if you buy the tent, the manufacturer buys all the material at wholesale prices because all they make are tents.

lmfao that canvas itself is almost the price of a tent and you won't even use all of it. That means you're way overpaying for the amount you're gonna use.

I've been trying to tell people this exact same thing for over a year now. IR block is a scam!!!!!!!!!!!!! People think that Infrared radiation and heat are 2 different things. They aren't. Regular old insulation will do the exact same thing as IR blocking film and at a fraction of the cost. +rep to you for busting forum myths! :clap:

yes you are SO RIGHT....why spend all the time with that when you can just go buy it and have it perfect for almost the same price.......Why are so many people trying to grow cannibas with as little money and resources as possible?? if you cant afford the stuff it takes to grow then that means you cant afford to grow ..........there it is............... Now its one thing to save money where you can and if you can make somthing cheaper and just as good then go for it but just to make somting inferior because you cant afford it means at this time in your life your just not ready to take on such a task......

people...this is for bob the builders who want to build their own tent. I actually enjoy and am good at it and a lot of people are too. And if you know what you are doing an plan out your project you will save money. haha this post isn't meant for you haters. haha nice signature FootClan.
