should i stay or should i go?

the plant has been vegging for 40 days.
i just topped the very top of that plant. but at the lower part of that plant there are many branches which have 3-4 nodes, although the upper part branches have 1 or 2 nodes...

it smells a lot so i am impatient and stressed. lol
so can i switch to flowering stage or stay in vegging?

I think min vegging is 3 weeks 21 days. The longer you veg the stronger the pant will be and likely produce mor ein flower. SO if your question is after 40days can you switch to flower then yes you can.

it will induce flowering sooner if you give it 36hrs of darkness first.. good idea if you dont want them to grow much taller

Skip the 3 days. If you flip to 12/12 immediately, they've started stretching by day 3, which indicates they've started flowering. Why let them sit in the dark, when the switch is immediate? IMO, you're just losing 3 days of light, that's all. :)

oh sorry i am confused again, my english is a lil weak :p
shortly should i go for 36 hours of darkness? or straightly flip to 12/12 from 18/6 ?

Make the flip straight to 12/12. 3 Three days of darkness, wastes alot of unnecessary time, IMO. :razz:

how does that waist time? right now the plant is in 100 veg mode.. if you place directly into 12/12 the plant will take a few days longer to start flowering and probably grow several inches taller.. wow! inches you say but growing in a frickn hobbit bacement like mine thats huge... Haha..
by giving them 36hrs of darkness they get a huge shock and start flowering much sooner.. both ways work fine but all depends on you and your space..
