if you have a hookah with a two way valve...take off the bb holder and put aside the bb....stick the blunt in this hole. it will give you a great mix of hookah and blunt. the best way to mix the two. weed in the bowl is too harsh and shisha in the blunt does not burn (lol jk)

how about just learn roll a good blunt or joint so you wont need accessories to smoke it?
if your blunt is too harsh you either used a stale blunt, didn't trim it properly, or just plain suck and should find someone else in your group to handle anything that requires any talent or skill.
if your going to take the time to smoke out of a bong, smoke out of a bong. blunts and joints are to be passed around with ease not require accessories.

The image i'm getting is just a DIY cigarette holder like evil woman smokes in 101 dalmations 
I've done something similar in the past, taken a good length if 1/2" ID computer hose, then you just fill the thing with smoke and toke on it at your leisure. As you say, pretty much just a DIY bong/pipe etc.

Hey narddog you know zig-zags make cigarillos and blunt wraps to lol but besides that i smoke cigars by them self and i like a nice blunt. Most cigar smokers can taste the tabacco and the weed distinctly in a blunt but i will agree that it is a waste but in the same sense joints are a waste they keep burning just wasteing away and i find the smoke tatse differnt once you put them out and re-light them.

Blunts are good....zig zags are cheaper per sq cm.

A blunt provides you with a slow burning different tasting smoke...nothing wrong with that right?

I sometimes do something similar, except I use the stem from my old bong (bong broke) and stick it through a water bottle like yours. I then put only short joints or blunts in there, don't care for it too much. Too many people I know like putting something rolled (blunt, joint..) into something else to smoke it... we roll em for a reason. But, it can come in handy when it is too short for some to smoke. The travel cools the hot smoke of a shorter blunt.
Nowadays I just stick it into my pipe and smoke it that way. Great for clips if you really need to burn clips at any point. Grandfathering and such. Enjoy! But I warn, when the blunt gets small enough the "cherry" will be right on the plastic. If you're down with smoking plastic then it is fine. Otherwise, use glass. Stems are like 5$ at most.

If you can roll $400 dollars of bud into one swisher, I give you mad props.
Also, I know I need to get a bong, but they are expensive as hell, not to mention hard to keep over the summer, when you have to go back home from school. Good thing I have buds with bongs, but the stems dont really hold blunts well.
