I just harvested 4 auto's 2 Double Diesel and 2 Red dwarf ~ I used FFOF and I started veg nutes as soon as 2 weeks from seed, then when I saw a nice set of flowers I switched to Flower nutes. They where not FF products but my point is that the nutes will increase your harvest and potency. I harvested from 49 grams - 77 grams per plant.

Wassup guys. Im also using the Fox Farm trio,FFOF soil,RO water, and TechnaFlora MagiCal.

Pic #1 Larry OG 5 gal pot( 4 Weeks into vegg, healthy)
Pic #2 Sour OG 7 gal pot(4 Weeks into vegg, recovering from root aphids)

RO water-4ppm

I mist the plants with RO water 3x day.I fed both plants for the first time with nutes yesterday. I use seperate 1 gallon jugs to water the plants.

Larry OG-150ppm of MagiCal and then bumped it up to 815ppm with the Grow Big
Sour OG- 150ppm of MagiCal and then bumped it up to 750ppm with the Grow Big

Will the trio of liquid nutes harm mycorhizzae or beneficial bacteria since it is synthetic, except for big bloom?

The Red Dwarf has a fruity flavor and the high is good, not long but good. The Double Diesel has the flavor and the high is up, last 1.5hrs and then go aways with out burn out. I planted 3 more DD seeds being I thought it was pretty good. I plan on using the whole plant for tincture.

Has anyone been using a ppm meter to feed nutes to their plants? If so, what are the recommended doses during vegg and flower?

When I was running a garage full and was using 20 gallon buckets full of water/nutes. I would have my veg at 900 and my flowering at 1300-1400 (14 was pushing it).

What type of water were you using? And did you also use a calmag supp with ur water?

I never use a cal mag additive. I was filling 20 gallon buckets up, 5 in the row. And when a plant came in to the flowering area, it would move down the line as it ripened and made room for the next set of 2. I would add water with a hose, and wait 24 hrs then add (1st bucket) 1/2 veg and 1/2 bloom nutes ,open sesame. Then by the time they made it to bucket 4 they where getting 1300-1400ppm of Tiger bloom, Molasses, and cha ching. Last bucket was clear water.

My water comes out of the wall at about 400 ppm, any suggestions on adjusting the nute levels? Using the FF trio, of course.

Even though I'm a newb at growing but 400ppm from tap water is extremely high right? I thought my tap water was bad. I measured it at 250 ppm. You should switch to RO water. Can't beat it. Measured the RO water at 4ppm

My ppm was at 200 when feeding baby clones and seedlings (after 2-3 weeks). I see no problem with 400. I think that is good for rooted clones.

I was just reading that anything over 150ppm in tap water could be toxic to some plants. I am having some signs of nute deficiency and i think my water is bad. Switching to RO filtered water.

Ya that's what I was told by the guys at greencoast hydroponics. Tap water isn't really good for our plants. But I guess it really does depend on the strain. Some strains are more sensitive than others. I say, use RO water. So you know exactly what ur feeding ur plants.

I use 4` 5 gallon water bottles ( from wal mart $7) and I fill them all up with water hose then drop a air line into 2 at a time and bubble for 24 hrs so all chlorine is out. I use one for bloom nutes and one for veg nutes. All organic and air keeps it all stirred up. I add my additives when I pour into my one gallon feeder pail, and adjust ph just before pouring.

Thanks for all the feedback everybody. My tap water works fine in soil, but when I recently tried to use a homemade aero system (stinkbuds design, modded for a bucket) the clones were not happy and showed signs of toxicity by the third day. I ended up putting them into soil and hoping for the best. That was 3 days ago, most are recovered and the rest will be soon. The lesson? I need an RO unit before I try hydro again.

PS-The real irony is looking at the 1 KC Jones that I put in the soil on day one to be a mama... currently about 5 times the size of the ones I transplanted from the aero unit. Hindsight's 20/20, right? At least I've got the Big Bloom to help em bounce back.
