lighting. what hours do i put my light on for?

Hi people, thanks for checking my post. i understand when im ready to flower my plants i do my light for 12 hours on and 12 hors off.

But when im growing my plants do i what hours do i do exactly? do i need 24 hours every day? sorry im a newbie. thank you.

Dude its very simple. There are 24 hours in a day. 12 of those hours the light needs to be on and the other 12 hours the light needs to be off.

alot, cfls and hps require different strategies to be used most effectively. You didnt even understand his question. If you dont understand something dont think its wrong, its really quite simple but im unsure if you would understand.

Have You got no respect. IT all depends whether this guy is using HID or CFL or T5 or T8's.

Because if the guy is vegging with small flouros he should leave it on 24hours a day.

And seriously are you high because th OP said he knows about 12 12 for flowering he was wondering about Veg lighting.

I think you had better read better before you comment in such a way as to aggrivate people.

U can do 18/6 or 24 and ya depending on the lights and heat issue and e bill if u can keep it nice and cool in there I'd say 24 but for me the 24 and 18/6 I didn't c a diff that was really worth the bill but if your all cfl I'd say 24 mh or hps it will be hotter the longer there on so rather 18/6 or 24 it's really a prefrence thing to be honest

Some people do use 24hours of light for veg.

I did not disrespect you in such a way as to cause this outburst. As darkdestruction has already said dependant upon which lighting option the OP is using then there are different strategies for growing.

How else could his post properly read have been taken?

I really dont know where that outburst came from i was only using the same kind of language that you use with darkdestruction and i got this kind of outburst.


You are entitled to your opinion of me and the country in which i live but really was there any need in such childish outburst?
