....they are advertised as females.

Here's two from their current batch of New York Power Diesel FEM seeds out of 5 planted:

Day 8 of flowering, clearly not a female.

A different NYPD plant, day 8 of flowering again, and clearly not a female.

and not to be rude bud, you may just be INCREDIBLY unlucky, since i cant discernably see any pistols, but in a lot of these cases, especially with Fems, they Hermie. in fact, they are very EASY to hermie from what ive read.

I have to agree with this post.. sometimes, depending on the strain you get... sometimes certain strains, can get stressed very easily causing it to eventually go male instead of being female as advertised. So again, just be sure you don't stress your plants.. and make sure your not accidently causing the plant stress.. without really knowing it.

that's my 2cents worth. ;)

Better luck next time man.

Nirvana sent me an additional 10 pack of the NYPD. We'll see how it goes. The plants are still alive, and males, and about 36" tall each now. (Harvesting the seeds, why not).

i say there herms

males preflowers show before female ones

and as stated above fem seeds are prone to herm

i always go a kick out of the name... NYPD

Yea, it's weird hearing Nirvana from the Netherlands having New York Power Diesel. :) The plants have no real flowers, just bananas all over. I'll take a picture later when its light out again.

Plz 'spain how you can make yourself not accidentally do something? That goes against the whole idea of accidents

The thread really should have just been titled 'DON'T BUY from Nirvana.'

It would have been better and more complete advice.

No, it was titled properly. I should know, its my thread. Nirvana is a fine seed company. They replaced my NYPD seeds, which are still in veg mode so we'll see if they exhibit the same problems or not. All other seeds I've ever used from them have worked as intended. Overall, I give Nirvana thumbs up for sure.

My friend is growing these and has 4/4 Females - Confirmed. About 3 1/2 weeks into flowering.

I'll attest it to Bad luck on your part.

Sorry to hear though.

lol, did they say they were sending you a 10 pack of the NYPD or a Female pack of 10 NYPD seeds?

I'd HATE to see you germ some of those and have a few come out male.

If they even replaced the seeds that you said were turning out male when advertised as fem'ed then I'd say that's pretty good business practices... never used them, only attitude, but I'd be willing...
