Attitude Seedbank. Why not help your customers?

I noticed that The Attitude Seedbank has created a profile, here on RIU...

Since the first time I've heard of The Attitude, I've been singing its praises. I even defended them in a few threads that were bashing them. Dont misunderstand. This thread is not intended to say they're in any way a rip-off. They deal in the truest of genetics, and all of their beans are from exactly who they say they're from. My contention is with their customer service.

After months of loyalty to the company, I finally had a small issue. It was with a ten-pack of The Church beans, from GH. I received a bunch of bullshit run-around, and no replacements. I've invited a couple of other members that have had issues with their The Church beans. YOU HAD A DEFECTIVE BATCH!

All they want to tell me is that I should send the defective beans back to them(...Uhhh... Yeah... That's gonna' be possible.) or take up my complaint with Greenhouse.(Which they know full well, I cant do.)

My question for you is this, Attitude Seedbank... Why wouldn't you want to keep loyal customers? Why wouldn't you take an extra step or two to keep good customers happy?

I find it odd that I just sent an e-mail to your business telling you that this site is about to start bashing your business, because of MULTIPLE people that are having issues with your customer service. And today a profile is made.:roll:

I would hope that you created this profile to help address some of the issues people are having.

Your policy on returning beans does not work. as your fully aware, some of us (for whatever reason) would be taking a big risk mailing things out. What really irritates me, is that you tell your customers from the states that they should contact dutch seed companies! That's just rude, man. YOU CAN CONTACT THEM! WE CAN'T! Also, as popular as The Attitude is, you should have alot of "pull" with them.

Now, I'm not a f**kin' idiot. When e-mailing them about the issue, I was careful not to say or imply that I broke any of their policies. I said things like,"Not to my liking", and "Defective". It would appear that even if you follow all the rules, and respect their policies when dealing with them... They will hide behind these policies to keep from helping you. are these policies in place to protect the company(which is fine, btw) or to screw people out of money?

Again!! I dont want this thread to be misunderstood as bashing The Attitudes strains, or that they steal from people. THEY DONT! You'll get exactly what you've payed for... But if it's a faulty bean... Your fucked! They won't help.


A response from The Attitudes profile would be nice. I'll PM you to make sure you dont miss the thread.;-)

All I can say to you is AMEN brother. I placed a huge order with them back in June of last year. Maybe it wasn't huge but it was a $500 dollar order! For me thats substantial. Out of all the beans I bought 0 cracked. I am like WTF am I out of my mind. Am I doin something wrong. So I pulled out 15 seeds from my personal stash that were over 2 years old and went with a germ rate of 14/15 so that pretty much answered all my questions. I emailed the 'tude and they sent me a response sayin that the seeds are sold for souvenir purposes only and that I was basically fucked. I too, at one time was very high on the attitude seedbank. Sure you will get your seeds but what good is getting them when they are shit. By the way I used to do well over 2k a year with you guys in seed business, Seedboutique and Seedbay have it all now. THANKS!

What was "faulty" about the beans?
Wondering the same thing here. I am guessing a horrible germination rate. The only I can think of that would be "faulty" about beans. Besides the supposed genetics of course, but he already stated that they are legit in that department. :leaf:

I got some church, harvested it, got about 4 zips off of it. nice buds and they were well developed on the top but not on bottom, left for them to finish. It is not a strain i will grow again tho.

I ordered from the attitude a few months back, and am 100% satisfied. Got my seeds in like 5 days.

I just got this off there website, and it is CLEARLY stated on there "our policies" page....kiss-ass


Returns

If you require seeds to be returned then the have to be completely unopened and also be in the original packaing. If on receipt the goods are faulty then please take the following steps:
Complete the return form enclosed with goods and send back within 14 days of receipt
Please pay the return postage and send back by recorded delivery so you have a proof of posting
We can repair a faulty product within the first 3 months (or replace it depending on the fault)
If the item is in stock we will replace it immediately. If not we will give a credit note or a refund with postage
Postage will not be charged on replacement/repair of faulty goods
If on receipt you are not happy with your goods please take the following steps:
Complete a return form stating the reason for return and enclosed with goods and send back within 14 days of receipt.
Goods must be returned in the same condition as they were received.

Guarantee
With the exclusion of seeds.
If you are not satisfied with any of the products, please notify us within 14 days, and return the goods to us.
Please send products back as they were received.
We will not replace any products after 3 months.
If product cannot be repaired or replaced we will give you credit note or a refund.

Please note that the telesales law forbids the return of certain goods.

They're hiding behind their policies, dude.if speedy or Nirvana woulda sold me a bogus pack, I'd have gotten SOME SORT of reperations.

To answer quick, GHSC has germination problems w/ the Church, some do some dont. I did. I went 2/10 in total, crappy rate while I went 100% w/ beans from other breeders. GHSC lies and continues to ignore the issue, they'll never get another cent from me.

Id love to get my hands on Arjan and squeeze his little Euro head until it popped, hes nothing but a thief in more ways than one.. I cant so I just spread the word about how lame they are.

i ordered seed through attitude some nirvana's papaya seeds they were pale and small , none germed i contacted attitude and told them i personally felt they were not a collectors quality seed , they asked to have the packaging and remainder of seed sent back so they could get with the breeder ,i did and they were replaced ,what is so hard about meeting them 1/2 way ?

And uhhh. I dig Arjans SLH and Himalayan Gold. And they created the original WW, didnt they? idk. I understand that GH has issues with their beans, and apparently The Attitude doesn't give a damn.

Attitude took care of me, sent me a replacment 5 pack of The Church, that pack was junk too.
Not Attitudes problem, fault totally lies on GHSC. I have no beef with Attitude, they tried to make it right, Ishould note they WILL NOT replace with any other beans than what you originally ordered. So you replace lame seeds w/ more lame seeds. Again, Attitude doesnt breed, they just distribute so I cant bitch about them, but I WILL bitch long and hard about GHSC.

They KNEW they had a problem a while back, said it was corrected and then sent out more lame beans.
Fuck GHSC and that little poser Arjan, King of Cannabis my ass. Just another Euro fag ripping people off.

I didnt have any seed left to send back, with most of them. Some just turned black, and didnt move. Some other ones shot a stream of milky gooey shit in my rockwool/papertowel. ONE spouted a taproot. If I had immature seeds, I would have sent them back. i trusted my "Guarantee", and tried to crack them. Hell, I even threw the empty package away.

Thia thread is more of a guide for others anyway, man. A hundred bucks dont break me.:roll:

Neither did I, i just called and talked w/ Rachel a couple times and we then emailed after a few overseas calls.... They replaced the lame pack when I placed my next order. Rachel was a lot of help.

GHSC was/is not offering any help. They post on another forum that I use, they have been ignoring ANY negative posts about The Church and germination problems, facts is dude they got our $ and couldnt care less now.

surely if some1 spends $500 on seeds and they don't crack they should get a full refund, and as for saying contact some1 else that's got to be their job after all their the 1's supplying the product i'd consider anything less than a full refund theft!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
your local superstores etc don't get away with it their simply using the rules laws to their advantage and obviously making a lot of money off it otherwise they'd work to keep their customers happy like other companys do?
best bet is to go with speedyseedz mate he's always here to answer any questions and does right by every1 and doesn't add stupid postal charges which saves an extra couple of £$
