Thanks for replying Dave....I think you may have hit the nail on the head with the soil being rich. It was brand new soil-promix- when I planted them, and they are on a regular feeding schedule....probably they are all set with nutes. I'm using 15-30-15 at 1/2 strength once a week during flower...and it's then, in the 6+ weeks of bud, that this condition shows. Tips and margins start to brown and dry out, some leaves are easily knocked off....It's only happening to the WW and the Sativa Spirit.

The WW was started from seed, got around 6 in tall then was cloned, sexed and went straight to the bud room. The others went back to veg. (I got 8 females) She's a nice plant. Untopped, on 12/11/09, she was 40 in tall, and the bud was 6 in wide. I have pics, but can't remember how to post 'em...supposed to go from my card to photobucket to this site somehow....

She is in her 7th week last Sunday(12/20) from the time I put her in the bud room. I'm not sure if I should start counting then, or count when I see they've flipped....

By the way, you guys are growing some splendid plants.
Pro-Mix is pretty weak stuff when it comes to nutes. Id say its your nutes. 15-30-15 is alot stronger than my 2-8-4 flowering ferts.

For future posting, try using the manage attachments under advanced so we can get thumbnails of the pics and we can blow them up. Hard to see anything with those tiny pictures :(

Following up ... We are in the 7th week of flowering. I was thinking to leave them 10 weeks but I wonder if my neighbours will keep up with it. Even if I have carbon filter, ozone, sealed grow room in the garage, etc ... you can easily smell these WW from the mail box ... Since this is my first WW grow, I'm not sure what to do ... Trichomes seems to have some amber colours but it is not general, there are some clear and some milky too. Buds have stop growing but are way more denser and definitely sticky as hell, even on the lower branches, buds looks like the colas of precedent grows. The canopy is still green with few exception ... I'll keep you posted ... Cheers :weed:

Looks like you have a nice harvest on the way Kanabis. How many ladies you got going?
Thanks Dave, I have 5 ladies going on under 2x600W HPS, had germinated 9 seeds but 4 were males. I'm glad today that we left these babies vegging for 12 weeks. Most of them are today between 6 to 7 feet and it is kinda a problem for maintenance but the result is worth the effort. I have been collecting cuttings and have the next crop vegging. However, the clones do not look as good as the original and I might end up getting more seeds. Overall, this the best strain I ever had, strong, few or no problems and by looking to the huge size of the colas, best harvest ... can't wait to taste it!

Actually, the ladies vegging at this time are cuttings from vegging plants and we could say they are ok but I still see difference in the growing pattern. Overall, they don't look as healthy, the foliage is not as green and lower leaves tend to die. This could be due to other generic problems of course. I also tried to get cuttings from plants into flowering stage and if rooting was 80% success, only a few made it so far, once transplanted in soil the root system was not expanding. I did not expose them to a 12/12 light regime.

I'm using organic roots soil, molasses, soil A and soil B from Garden House and some added Nitrogen. I'm looking to buy other products from that brand such as drip clean. I used to work with Technaflora but had problems for flowering stage with previous crops and switch to Garden House. So far WW love it!

Today, I took another batch of cuttings from the vegging crop and observe stems are very strong in comparison to other strains. Hopefully it will work!
