never use the t5s soz m8 y not go for mh or hps if iremember right the t5s aint cheap either?
Yes I want him off this planet for snitching! He almost cost me my son. I heard t5's were pretty good. I just dont want the heat and cost of power bill of hps. I have seen decent grows with cfls and I thought t5;s were better than those.

I don't see any sign of balls either, granted, it ain't the healthiest looking plant. Looking through red eyes isn't helping though!

^^ thats the stuff, get organic if you can, local health food stores usually stock it.

That's actually a myth. Watt for Watt a HPS is far more efficient than a CFL.

Yes I know that. I was saying I heard t5's are better than cfl. I might just get a 400 watt metal halide hps combo. Dont they have a cooling system in them?

Are you talking about MH or HPS lights...?
No they don't have any cooling system built in, you have to add an exhaust fan to your room or onto the end of your reflector if you are going for air cooled lights

hps. do I have to have air cooled lights for a closet grow? I have only done outdoor growing. sorry if my questions sound stupid. I want to do 10 auto flowers in my closet with the least amount of construction.

No you don't need anything facing the exhaust
Just make sure the exhaust is at the highest point and the intake is at the lowest

t5s may be better than a cfl but in my opinion there more for adding lumens to existing light i know for a fact the sun blaster t5's put out a really blu spectrum ideal for vegetation but not so hot for big flowering were u want the reds of a hps

this is my closet setup.

2x80mm PC fans suck in air through the bottom, a 12" desk fan circulates air inside and the 400w HPS light has a cooltube with ducting sucking the air from the room over the bulb and out through the top to exit via a grill.
All lined with Mylar.
Temps stay around 76-78 with the doors closed.

Thank you for the info! I will ask all other questions on the grow room construction threads because I know this is an auto flower thread. I will get back to you with my set up in 9 months when my wife gets off probation and Im aloud to do shit. Peace!
