morning all,
lets see if we can push this journal further along.......

so iv woke up this mornin on day 7 since planting and after yesterdays disaster with my LA, it has totaly shrivled up and died overnight, so thats end of for that 1.

As for my lowryder2, since growing its first set of true leaves, i have not noticed a lack of growth in both width and height,
now considering with these things, u can suposedly sex them at 21-23 days from planting, i realy cannot see this happening!

it was watered properly yesterday for the 1st time, as the 1st time they were watered, i nuked em with full strength tomato feed (my bad!)

its just yesterday been dropped from a 24/0 cycle to 18/6

First true leaves are now getting quite curled which is a bit of a worry
i aint phtographer of the century but please inspect my pictues iv attached below and any feedback on why my leaves are so curled?
Is this plant looking healthy?
do i carry on as i am or do i need drastic changes?
cheerz guys
Jacko

im just using some no frills potting soil bought from homebase (uk)
ill keep it goin anyway and update the result
deffinately lesson learnt!
it looks pretty heavy like top soil with out any pearlite, the roots have to have oxygen or they will rot ,what exactly was the soil mix called, even if its soil from your own yard it needs a little help when in container growing

It looks shocked best thing you can do is leave it alone.
No more water till it picks up and starts growing again.
And next time start in a small pot!

hey guys
so im just doin as i said i would do and keeping my thread updated.
im now onto day 10 since planting have noticed a slow but sure progression

once again im uploading my up to date pics for yall to gimme your experteez advice and critisism

iv been running a 18/6 light cycle for the last 4 days (was previously 24/0)

im still fairly concerned about the size of the plant as it is so small, its now onto its 2nd set of true leaves but still only a max of 2cm high??

getting waterd as it shpuld be and using no nutes

when would it be advisable to introduce nutes to this plant?
if u read back u will find that i nuked the poor thing with nutes on its 1st water

once again ill be looking forward to hearing replys

id still leave off the nutes for at least the first week n a half minimum fella, then give a really low dose n work up slowly.

hey don, thnx for the reply dude
so while iv got your attention, ill just mention that i noticed the plant hasnt seemed to anchor itself down,
the actual stem can be moved 5mm up/down, iv tried to gain it abit of height by easing it up very slighty?

is there a way i can get this plant to sit solid?

will this be down to the no frills soil iv used?

lol man leave the damn thing alone hahaha its still just a baby the root system is developing still dont pull or push it just let it build itself up when it gets a bit bigger putting a small fan in the box will help strengthen it. just let it do its thang man!

hey guys, time for an update
so im onto day 13 now and still in two minds about the health of this plant, yes it is growing, but now starting to look abit mutant.

day 12 and the true leaves have started to branch but the leaves apear to be ripping apart???
i can assure they have not been touched lol, but look as if they bin sliced???

my 2nd lowryder (lr2) is looking very well and the amount of height its gain is unbeleivable compared to my 1st

anyway, i would like some feed back about my leaves? why do they appear to be ripped??
2nd set of true leaves are starting to look abit yellow on the edges but the 3rs set that are branchin are green????

all coments welcome guys, please chec out my pics below

lmao, is that meaning the abuse from its birth? is this ripping of the leaves the formation of the 3/5/7/9 finger leafs?

im gonna introduce nutes next week on a very small dose, been watered as usual
