where did you find the cooltubes and ballast for so cheap? i could only find a cooltube for 85 on their website?

if i can find a digi ballast for 110 or less i will buy it!! or a old magnetic ballast would be fine too! i'm sick of waiting for htg supply, i just got off the phone with them and he said i can't order till monday..wtf!

Some people report me saying Im promoting stuff so im not allowed to put direct links to stuff for sale.Ill try to pm you guys in a bit.The kool tubes i bought on sale from maryland as he runs sales weekly just gotta keep chekin back in. I also got 600 watt digitals from him he had them for $129 plus shipping through his ebay store so i called and bullshitted with him until he did them shipped for the discounted price of $119 shipped. If you really want a 400 watt ballast pm me and Ill let you know on that..can get ya hooked up with 400 600 or 1000 just cant do it in the thread or the thread nazis will get me again

I mean shit there is a sticky of stores I dont see any difference in that and you telling us where the deals are at. If those ones guys can go on and on about ghettoponics companys you can tell us legit deals straight up its in the "constitution".

I ordered a 400w HPS from them yesterday. Today I received a tracking number and it'll be here by 9/1 according to UPS. Seems legit to me, and you can't beat their price :D

it's BS. they are stringing him along and he is NOT getting what he wanted. now he has to try to cool a bigger light and they are still dicking him around

why wouldn't they just give him a refund like he asked? why try to "upgrade" him?

if i wanted to call them i would have ordered over the phone. an "online" order means it gets handled "online".

i ordered from them once. i had an issue. they wouldn't talk to me thru email. i was told to "call" them. fuck that. i ordered online, deal with it online. i will never purchase from them again.

When he posts a message saying his new 400-watt light has arrived will you finally end your vendetta against HTG or will you then claim he lied and never received anything and was only attempting to save face after having been ripped off after all?

Evidently you have never owned or operated a business. I have been a part owner in three different businesses and at times to make a customer happy you do give them extras and or upgrades.

For every one dissatisfied customer you have you have to make ten other customers love you to death to make up for the ripping you a new one the one single unhappy customer will do … as you have done and proved in this thread in regards to HTG because of your one single unsatisfactory purchase, that you admitted you refused to do as they asked you to do and talk to them in person so they could then rectify it and make you a happy satisfied customer.

You may want and need to believe that if something is purchased online and there is some delay or problem that is should strictly be handled online and online alone. Again that is evidence of your lack of business experience.

A more personal touch goes many miles farther than a cold email does. A kind helpful voice heals wounds and solves problems in a way an email will never be able to.

It's only been like 8 or 9 days. That being said; I had planned on buying 4 of those Digital greenhouse HPS/MH ballast with the cool tubes for $274 a pop shipping included. But had to go ellswhere. I got 4 Sun System Harvest Master Pro eliete multi volt HPS/MH ballasts and 4 Sun Systems Sun tubes for $299 per set shipping included. I don't feel to bad about going with the sun ballast because the're rock sollid and there is no chance of electrical interfearance with my controlers. The sun tubbes are a little sturdier than the cool tubes and they have heat shielding around the wiring and the socket. The htg cool tubes do not. I wish they would get back online!

You needn’t have mentioned that you are always right. I learned that about you some time in the past. Even when you are 100% wrong, in your mind you are still always right.
 
He said the item turned out to be out of stock. That has happened to me any number of times when ordering various things online. It may say in stock when you place your order, or that may not be mentioned at all, but if other orders are processed before your order then the item you ordered is then out of stock and there is nothing any business can do about that.
 
It is totally unreasonable for anyone, even someone who believes that no matter what that they are always in the right, to expect delivery of an out of stock item in what would be considered to be reasonable delivery time for an in stock item. No business can deliver to someone something they do not have to deliver.
 
I was part owner in a Lincoln-Mercury dealership and also part owner in a marina that sold seven different lines of boats. At times we did run out of stock and the only options were for the customer to wait or to upgrade them or if they chose to downgrade then that is what was done.

But in any case if we could not get a car from the factory or a boat we needed or a motor or trailer we needed instantly then some other option was needed to be found and that took the input and cooperation and agreement of the customer.
 
You said they refused to refund his money. I did not read that message, I only saw where they offered to upgrade his order to a 400-watt light. If they did flat out refuse to refund his money I would say that is poor customer service but if they said they would but if he would prefer an upgraded light then that is exceptional customer service.
 
You asked why I am, "pushing them so hard" and also if I "work there or something." I retired a little over five years ago, I do not work for anyone and before that I worked for myself for many years.

My only business interest now is as an investor in our family owned pot in pot nursery, trees and bushes, not plants or kids. Other family members operate it and all I do is collect profit checks.
 
I am not pushing HTG. When and where did I tell anyone to purchase from them?

I have given information about certain deals they have had when someone was looking for a low priced item and they happened to have the lowest price but if and when somewhere else had a better deal going I would mention that instead.

I have never purchased from HTG and while I may I also may not. It will all depend on what needs I may have in the future and what is the best value to be found at the time and where it is to be found.
 
You said people order lower wattage lights because that is all they have room for. That is pure speculation combined with an overactive imagination on your part.

Over the many, MANY years I have grown, 37 of them now, I have known many people and read many messages from many people who purchased lower wattage lights for reasons of price and out of concern for higher electricity bills than the higher wattage lights would actually cost them.

I have also known many people and read many messages from people who later realized their mistake and then upgraded to a higher wattage light and used it in the very same space.
 
We all know that you believe that you are always right in everything and about everything and also in every situation but as much as I hate to be the one to have to break it to you, you are unable to alter or create reality so it fits what you desire it to be and so it supports your position or beliefs and that is precisely what you attempted when you claimed that, "people order lower watt lights because that's all the room they have" as if that was an absolute and there were no other possible reasons for their purchase decision.
 
You actually only have one single flaw to point out about HTG and that is your one single attempted purchase from HTG that left you dissatisfied because you refused to allow them to work with you.

Everything else you have said is hearsay/second hand claims and the initial one, the one you keep ranting on and on about in this thread has turned out to be false.

People said HTG slammed their doors and you said it was so.

One person said they were ripped off and you said that was true and still say that it is true, but now he has said things have not only been made right but have ended up better but still you want and need to slam HTG because of your one single distasteful experience that your refusal to work with HTG is most likely the reason it turned out to be distasteful for you and now you are trying to use a possible fan issue as your validation to continue your personal vendetta against HTG.

 
Have you even begun to consider the difference in price between the originally ordered light and what he will now be receiving and the difference in price between the two different fans?

Do you honestly believe that he will not be money ahead in the end and have a superior setup to what he otherwise would have had?

Do you believe the difference in the price of a different fan will be more than what he received by being upgraded to a 400-watt light?
 
Your desperation to shred HTG is clearly showing and it is very ugly.

i emailed then 3 times. i got 0 replies. if i would have gotten an email that said "call me", maybe i would have. they simply ignored me.

i order stuff all day online. never had problems like this. anytime i have an issue THEY CALL ME. i do 99% of my online dealings ONLINE.

i dealt with HTG once. they failed. i will continue to share my experience. sorry.

I think the little clapping hands emoticon was a nice touch for you to be able to use since you are the only one applauding what you are saying and the only one that will so as usual you have simply decided that you are right and that everyone else is wrong. How wonderful it must be for you to possess such an ability.
 
You said that HTG never tried to work with you. Well in your previous message you said you did not have to lie but you stated before that, that they asked to speak to you on the phone and you refused to do so. They made an honest attempt to work with you but you refused, you turned them down according to your own words. If you are so pigheaded that you will not even speak to someone on the telephone to make sure a situation turned sour can and will be made right then the fault lies squarely at your feet and not with HTG.
 
If you have no need to shred anyone then why have you gone so far out of your way to do so? You said you have no need to lie but I have to assume that when your words and actions from message to message contradict each other that is not anything that could ever be considered to be anything even slightly less than honest, right?

Since this thread has turned into a slog-fest maybe you should close it and start handing out multiple infractions and temporary bannings, as you have in the past even though it was for purely personal reasons.
 
Of course if you do the very first one to receive infractions and to be banned should be you because you have gone way out of your way to perpetuate the lets lynch HTG thing and to get people riled up and then of course if anyone disagreed with you, you then either claimed they were wrong, naturally since yo are always right, and in some cases went after them tooth and nail.

It is a shame that some people in such a position abuse their position. You do know exactly what I am talking about so do not even begin to attempt to claim otherwise.
