+rep - where can you view it?

Yeah those points are on there, however they are calculated, but that's not the same as the rep points, at least not for me. I have almost 3000 of those experience points but I have 210 reputation points. I haven't figured out how to see the reputation points for other users.

Uhhhh.....

Here's what you do. MBlaze has 8,054 rep pts. I never left this page to see it either. Just hover your cursor over someone's orange bar and the points will come up.

But how do you see what threads/posts others have been repped for? Like you see when you look at your own reps.

And cracker those points are the vb experience points in total and not the rep points.

Elite allows you to see who reps you, even if they don't leave a calling card, but that's all. You still can't see someone else's rep details...although you can always ask.

Im thinking the same thing. When you look at someones profile, if you can see the threads they were repped for then you may find a thread that is of interest to you with some good discussion in it. I dont see why it should be private.

The rep totals can be viewed like I said by passing over the orange bar....you just can't see the individual donations.

CJ, no that is the experience points. I have 218 +reps. If I had 2700 it would mean I am averaging almost 3 +reps for every single post I have ever made! I might be good but I'm not that good

True, but there is no single rep system...it's a conglomerate of post pts (rep gives), thread starts, and post pts. You can look up the actual rep points by clicking on VB experience after you click on a name.

I see where you can look up the components of the vb experience points but the actual +reps are not in there. Nowhere does it show how many +rep points I have, except to me. Are you saying you can find my 218 points?

You'll notice that those numbers do not appear in the VB ranking. They are factored in, but not displayed, but again they are in the orange bar.

Either you are messing with my head or we are just going in circles. You've already said my orange bar shows 2800 but in fact I have 218 +reps. I don't think you could find that 218 if I didn't give it to you. I can't see how many +reps you have. A member can see his own by clicking the scales in any post but when you click scales for any other member you just get an option to give rep.

Yes, back to my original... only you can see the actual points given. I have read the admin section on repping explained and it was like reading the Bible. I walked away bewildered and needing a bowl.

I can see that you have (now) 219 rep points. I clicked the vBExperience tab under your profile and it's right there.
