Alright before I anyone say's it's just a movie and the strain doesn't exixt, G13 Labs has released a new strain obviously Pineapple Express. They say it's an Extremely Rare Seed blah blah...

Its is $71 Canadian. Just wondering maybe someone happened to buy it or plans on? It may still be good bud, they just wanted free advertisement

im pretty interested in it aswell but from what im hearing g13 is a less desirable breeder and pineapple express isnt really worth the investment... again this is just hear say ive yet to hear from anyone who's grown it.

just watched that movie last night hilarious. i see the 'new' strain pineapple express for sale at dispensaries any way to make a buck i guess i also see obama og kush lol.

You know eventually someone would come out with a strain called Pineapple Express. Unfortunately I think it is just a gimmick but who knows it may be a great strain?

I have not seen any grow journals on it so maybe you can break it in and be the first

They had some seeds they wanted to make money on. So they took a fake strain name from a popular stoner movie and put it on the seeds. I'm surprised it took this long.

There are some real strains out there with a pineapple scent that were respected and sought after before the movie. I would look for these. One is a clone only, UK Pineapple, the other that I know of is C99. some of the Hybids i see coming out use C99 as one of the parents. Snakebite from leprichan seeds I think is one. It's at Hemp Depot.

ive read i think every post on this pineapple express but not a damn person has anything good to say about it but at the same time not a damn person has tried growing it. im gonna say fuck it and just order them and keep you guys posted. someone has to do the dirty work, im that interested its probaly gonna be me. DONT KNOCK IT IF YOU HAVENT TRIED IT. the capitals are to everyone saying its bunk just cause its a name from a movie. maybe the movie just inspired the name, its a 95% chance its just a marketing technique. by the same token the phenotypes are "unknown" that seems a lil sketchy to me. bcseeds has some c99 X pineapple that looks pretty dank too. BTW nosaint, everyones got bs to say not any valuable info on the strain. ill be starting a grow journal on the PE within the next month. 5 fems for 65 bones is steep but where im from a gram goes for 25 whether its some mids or highs. so if i just get one fem outta the bunch my moneys quadrupled easily. if anyone can find more info than "its just a name from a movie" or "its probaly bunk" let me know. im not basing my decision on someone's half ass judgement just cause the name. truthfully the names dont mean squat, if its good bud its good bud. a good 60% of people smokin bud from the streets are buying according to name but without the seeds or breeders info its not 100%.

You admit that it's sketch they don't list the genetics. It's also from a sketch breeder, G13 Labs. Pineapple Express first showed up on Attitude maybe 3 weeks ago, of course no one has a report on it yet. Before you jump all over everyone realize that we're basing our opinions on a lot of background info. Everyone gets G13 Labs freebies with their orders from Attitude. All those beans and not a single person raving about G13 Labs. If their strains were good, we would all know about it by now.

Damn straight bud. Start up a grow journal or sumthin, ill deffinatly subscribe im really interested in it. and if it is good, think of how easy it would be to sell PINEAPPLE EXPRESS to people.

I completely agree with what you are saying. There are too many people who just assume a strain is bad because either it was a free seed from Attitude or they are using a name that came from a movie.

That is actually why I am growing out the Free G13 Labs Thai Super Skunk to see what it's all about.

All I hear about it is that it sucks but NOBODY has ever grown it or even smoked it.

I really wish the kids who come on here would just stfu sometimes when it is obvious that they don't know what they are talking about. Same people who are growing out bagseed and claiming it is OG Kush and NYC Diesel on here and youtube

lots of threads about people growing G13 labs stuff here, just look. I would just say $70 is a lot of cash to invest in a strain that is a "mystery". You can almost get a serious seeds strain for that, and you could definitely get some of Subs gear or any of the Mandala strains that are PROVEN for less than that.

hell yea ill admit its sketchy, ive heard a lot of bad about g13 labs. im not here saying they're the shit. however i got a friend who orederd 5 fem red diesel and 5 fem purple ladies. 3 rd and 2 pl turned out to be strait females, and some good smoke at that. before you get on my case i think you shoul reread the post. IM ALL ABOUT TRYING SOMETHING NEW. whether it be a badass breeder or not. outta 5 beans ones bound to be fem. if not then i lost 65 bucks. and to be 100% honest i appreciate everyone lookin out and tryin to save me some hard times, so dont think im in here talkin shit. im just down for the experience. heres an idea, ill let you "pros" stick to being pro's and ill keep being the amateur that i am and get to the "pro" level the hard way. only way to learn, isnt it? at least if i fail i can back up everyones opinions on the g13 being a shitty breeder. i just dont like taking ppls opinions oneverything bc different batches produce different beans so you really never know what your gonna get. i mean even sensi seeds at over 100 bucks for a set doesnt gurantee you the best, have they been good? yes, but have they had a failure rate? yes! we're gonna put this myth to the test lol. i ordered 5 pe this morning. ill start a journal as soon as i start germination. if it fails, ill accept all critisism and judegment. just please hold it until then.

i just watched the documentry pineapple express.does any one know what happend to the weed tester in the 40,s.is he dead and if he is what was his name,because i have a buddy who has serious mental issues from smokeing weed,he also believes his family may have been test guinea pigs for weed in the 40,s.so maybe we can help this dude put his life together,and where the guy was smokeing in the beginning of the documentry is that were they bred g13.so many questions so few answers,any CIA types that smoke pot on here who can fill in the blanks.thanks.

Hey txmadengrown, I ordered 5 fems PE seeds too bro, I grow cuz I love to grow and I'm curious to see what comes from these seeds. People bitch about the price and say that g13 labs suck cuz their seeds are freebies sometimes, but alot of those same people will rave about a company that has given out seeds for free too. Like dinafem, I've heard people rag on g13 but rave about dinafem and dinafems are freebies too! I mean if you're gna bash someone at least do it because you got some bad seeds from them, and if thats the case you have a right to, but not if you heard bad or cuz you're quick to judge, that's just me though. I have the the money and the time to spare, and I'm not in it for money, I just love growing and smoking cannabis, lol. I'll probably start a journal just so people can see how they grow, no more are they aren't they shit, haha.

It doesn't matter if they're given away as freebies - in fact that gives their brand more exposure than others, because no matter what you're going to get some of their gear. And even though lots of people get them, very few people bother to talk about them. People get real genetics and move on. I'm growing their WW and Purple Lady, and samples have proven the harvest will get me high. I've definitely had better and even after cure I doubt they'll be much more than middies.

This is all besides the point. Myself and others have made the mistake of trying to teach common sense to people who have none. First, we have a no-name breeder that, despite having vast exposure to the growing community via free seeds, has failed to create any buzz around the seeds it offers. Second, we have people coming on here going on about "HAY THEY HAVE PINEAPPLE EXPRESS, I'M GONNA GROW THAT SHIT CUZ IT SMELLS LIKE GOD'S VAGINA!" They do not list the genetics, or really anything about the strain. If you're buying it for the name, that's cool. If you're buying it because you actually think it's Pineapple Express, look around for background info on the film, I'm pretty sure they admit somewhere that they made up the name.

Look at it this way: If McD's announced tomorrow that they were adding Filet Mignon to their "dollar menu," would you expect it to be fast food or the best damn filet mignon ever cooked? It's going to be terrible, and you know it, because that's what McD's specializes in: Cheap, shitty food that tastes OK.

G13 Labs is the McDonalds of marijuana breeders. Their Pineapple Express is the McRib - it's not really what it claims to be (the strain or actual ribs) and will ultimately dissapoint you.

The point: If you purchase G13 Labs Pineapple Express you will receive cannabis seeds. They will probably grow and produce buds (unless they're male). The smoke will be mediocre, which may be better than what you're used to. It will not smell like God's Vag. It will not smell or taste like pineapple. Much like the Zune, it will be all talk and no show.
