I think it's funny when people talk bad cuz they say the genetics are unkown, cuz first off the genetics aremost likely known by those who made the seeds they just say unknown to make it seem mysterious, which is stupid to me, and second about a third of the strains on attitude say either unknown hybrid, unknown clone, known female bred with unknown father or whatever. I think sometimes they do it so people can't replicate them and other times because their full of shit, either way people by seeds based on name and breeder. So if you think that you're wasting your money trying out some Pineapple Express but you're not if you're dropping 3 times the $, or more, on some of dj shorts seeds just cuz their dj shorts, then your a fool. Dj short strains can go for like 150$ on attitude yet the 2008 cannabis cup champ super lemon haze from greenhouse seeds is like a 1/4 of that, where's the logic there? Dj shorts strains are potent yes but it's the same marketing scheme, put a good name on it and make money, lol. I know people shell out the loot for dj shorts seeds, and if you can spare the cash then fuck it, why not? So thats what I say about the Pineapple Express, I'm not ordering for the name or because of the movie, I ordered them because I'm curious and the pic looked nice. Who knows the pic could've been a totally different plant but if that scared me I'd never order seeds cuz in the end your taking a dealers word on what they're offering.

Anyways I'm not trying to put the Pineapple Express on a pedestal, lol, I just think there's no knockin it til you've grown it and smoked it, and thats what Im gna do. Who knows it could turn out dank and I could cross it with something like power plant to increase yield or something and have a decent plant.

You didn't get the memo. GHS is not that great anymore since they lost their good breeders. Cup wins are bought these days, not earned.

It's not hype if your products are actually good.
DJ Short created the original Blueberry. He has street cred.
What has G13 Labs done to impress us? Nothing. No street cred, just cheap seeds and gimmick names.

yeah i mostly grow clone only socal strains as there the best imo. but i like blueberry and flo they are good indica sativa representations.

Well . . . for one thing, Attitude is no longer giving away the G13 labs seeds. Now, they're onto something called Dinafem. Have no information on quality at all. They're also not offering the 420 discount anymore. AND I could swear the prices have gone up. Not sure, because it's been a while since I ordered anything from them.

I grew a freebie from them, one they were giving out for a long time: G 13 power skunk, and I was and am still very pleased with this plant. It's got a good stone to it, and it was great to grow, hardly any odor at all.

So that's one differing opinion on the G 13 seeds.

I also noticed the pineapple express seeds. I'm sure they did capitalize on the movie name, but like has been noted here, it's so new that no one has any experience with it.

To each his own, I guess.

They do not list the genetics, or really anything about the strain. If you're buying it for the name, that's cool. If you're buying it because you actually think it's Pineapple Express, look around for background info on the film, I'm pretty sure they admit somewhere that they made up the name.

Look at it this way: If McD's announced tomorrow that they were adding Filet Mignon to their "dollar menu," would you expect it to be fast food or the best damn filet mignon ever cooked? It's going to be terrible, and you know it, because that's what McD's specializes in: Cheap, shitty food that tastes OK.

G13 Labs is the McDonalds of marijuana breeders. Their Pineapple Express is the McRib - it's not really what it claims to be (the strain or actual ribs) and will ultimately dissapoint you.

The point: If you purchase G13 Labs Pineapple Express you will receive cannabis seeds. They will probably grow and produce buds (unless they're male). The smoke will be mediocre, which may be better than what you're used to. It will not smell like God's Vag. It will not smell or taste like pineapple. Much like the Zune, it will be all talk and no show.

Ok so I grew out a bag seed, a dinafem blue hash, a g13 blue venom & a g13 pineapple express. The bag seed & blue hash where culled out & the blue venom & p express where flowered out.

The resin production on the PE was easily its best feature, I got a ball of finger hash off of this plant that was bigger than a milk dud, lol, the hash was extremely fruity as was the bud when it was fresh, but the bud seemed to lose some flavor & taste as it cured but the potency noticebly increased, it was one hitter quitter shit for sure.

The Blue Venom did in fact take on a blueish-purple tint on the top half of the main colas late into the flowering. It was much more mellow than the PE & had a very interesting smell, it was almost like a vapor coming off of the buds. Like vicks vaporub but with an astringent/skuny scent. The bud was still decently potent, more of a creeper but still a nice high, a nice daytime smoke for sure.

All in all these buds were well worth the effort I put into the grow. The PE put out roughly 50 grams & the BV put out around 35 grams. I believe both of these plants had the potential to put out a larger harvest had conditions been better in the beginning of the grow. Both were grown indoors organically under a 600w hps with enhanced blue.

My buddy baught a pound of that pineapple weed about 8 months ago from Ontario, it was really good taste and the high was incredible. It smelled really good too. And yes it sold like hot cakes haha

I've got a PE just past 6 weeks of flowering and wow; fastest plant I've grown so far. It's also got nice heavy nugs, larger than the others in my grow. I've sampled a couple nugs from it and holy hell its amazing. Very very fruity smell and taste with pineapple being the main one. Made my mouth tingle! The high is great too...just make sure not to smoke too much or u'll be passed out before u know it haha.

i see that alot of people are curious about the strain and alot of different opinions on it.i grew two plants under a 400 watt hps lamp in soil.i have to admitt pineapple express is just a name and yes probably because of the movie but this is some awsome weed. i personally dont smell or taste pineapple at all but it is a very good yielder and awsome quality.i recomend these seeds to anyone who hasnt tried them.

yea man.. check out htis guys grows.. i actually just ordered sum as well.. but htis guy tried sum in his 1st grow and said its one of the bests hes grown.. and has continued to grow at least 2-3 of them each grow.. here are the links to his journal.. vrey very very impressive!!

Haha this is one of my 1st posts:lol: from when I joined last may 09 around that time.
I subd to that guy journals too.
Since this post, I've discovered too much information and got many strains in front of the line. Got my next 10 strains figured already :P 3 on the way.
The results of this strain of very impressive though.

lol. yeaa i saw it and i just had to throw his links on there. lol yea im hopin mine turn out as good as his did!! and i got 11 seeds on the way.. all diff strains. cant wait to grow sumthin other than WW for once. lol

Yeah, I grew it. Had a tendency to herm. Found a light leak and I am going to try again. Patients I shared it with raved. It was a bit too psychotic for me. The younger patients loved it. It turns beautiful colors at the end, golds and maroons. And it is one quick finisher with a delightful trouble free resinous yield.

I bought one of these seeds from attitude, I dont care if people say g13 is shit, I dont really care if its a made up name with no real pineapple appeal, I figure hey wtf... Ill try it... Ive got 3 other plants growing... If its good ill keep it, if its not Ill move on and let people know its not worth it...

and btw sometimes Mcdee's hits the spot like no one else can... :mrgreen:

These posts make me so happy.."ah hum" my "friend""(cough) has some going right now his first grow :mrgreen:..I must say these things r beautiful there the biggest 2 in his grow and the fastest 2 mature...he also has some of that DNA gear going 2 :mrgreen::mrgreen:..with that attitude sour kush freebie being one of them..

yeaa people say Nirvana's genetics sucks as well.. but if u click my signature.. and check out my white widow harvest.. i think that will change ur mind! lol. this WW is bombv. its the 2nd time i've grown it.. last time i yielded 3.15 ounces.. hopin for about the same yield this time. adn yeaa i got a PE as well. i put it in the soil yesterday.. soo it should be popping up very soon. =) My Blue Venom (also G13) grew a 1 in tap root in 36 hours!!! and i planted it, and about 16 hrs later.. it came up through the soil!! this thing is gonna grow FAST!!

awww. well hopefully it was just due to the light leak.. my friend has grown a few plants the last few grows and had none of them herm. =) soo thats a good sign. and yeaa i was just lookin at my friends grow..and it just startd week 7.. adn still barely has any orange hairs.. he sais it doesnt start shooting out red/orange hairs till the last couple weeks. it looks beautiful tho!
