HA HA HA HA !!!! why is your bud dirty? Trichomes are not water soluble, but they will break off... you shouldn't spray anything on your buds while they're growing b/c that could cause mold, so there shouldn't be any reason to wash them..... i've never ever heard of anybody washing their bud... my vote goes for BULL

There is a method called water curing. I read about it on this site. It can be helpful after cleaning up an insect infestation after harvest. Your Homie is correct. It is a process and you can lose trilchomes if the bud gets manhandled during curing.

the only reason i would ever put bud in water would be to make some bubble hash other than that i would avoid it

why would you even want to wash your weed? thc is not water soluble so it shouldnt hurt as long as your not scrubbing it with a rag or somthing but you would then have to let dry for a very long time it seems like. kinda seems pointless imo

don't worry, 90% of the members here are under 16. their opinions don't matter anyway.

classic tale of the blind leading the blind. way to go morons!

and to properly answer your question, yes; you can wash your buds, dry, then cure. a good example of why this might be done is you may have had to treat mites in the beginning of flower, and you want to get rid of residual neem oil and or soap + webs and dust. it does not hurt the product, and is done after the buds are trimmed. you dip in water, swirl for a second, remove and shake excess water, then place on the rack to dry as normal.

"what about mold?"

your humidity is so high you're getting mold because of this? perhaps you should review the basics.:?

sorry for the rant OP. hope this helps!

yeah, if there was some crazy infestation but I think its ridiculous to "wash" your herb... and water-curing is not a great curing method imo. And Im not blind or 16 and im certainly not a moron, Ive just been smoking herb for 20 years and have never heard of people "washing" their weed unless they are retarded

Is this a debate about the pros and cons of water curing? Because water-curing is a pretty shitty way to cure buds from what I have read about it. True, i know no one who has ever tried it becasue its supposedly such a shitty method.. The OP said his friend told him you could wash bud which is bs. why would you wash bud unless you have a serious, serious infestation? even then Id probably just throw it away... why would you wash it Kp2? enlighten me to the benefits of washing ripe herb nugs. Please, I need to benefit from your awesome knowledge
