seems to me like since THC is naturally an oil, when it burns it vaporizes like water and becames small oil droplets (vapor) that you inhale, a lot of the good stuff would get stuck in the cotton filter easily, some would pass through but not as much as if it was non filtered.

Weed in an empty cig is a waste. You're not rolling it so more than likely it'll be loose. Even if you pack it tight....it'll be loose (been there done that) Thats besides the fact that cig paper is loaded with chemicals.....which make your non-rolled spliff burn even faster. Add a breeze to that and your cigajoint probably will only last about 2 minutes before burning up. A waste.

i would never recommend using cigarrete papers. i was at my moms house visitin one time and she lives way out in teh country i didnt want to drive all the way back in town so i used one of my stepdads cigarette papers(he makes his own cigarettes) and damn did it suck, i used a cigarette rollin machine and everything it was good and tight. the problem is that the cigarette paper burns way to fast to really enjoy and you end up wasting alot of your weed.

p.s. i just tore the filter off

There are many brands on the market. Supermatic and Top O' Matic are the two that I have used. My Top O' Matic lasted me 3 years, the supermatic is going on a year and a half. For a $40-50 investment, I probably save $1000 a year in cigarettes alone.

yeah or you could just take the filter out. or u could stop being cheap and just buy some rolling papers they are mostly cheaper. cigs are like 2.25 or around there and u can get papers for like 1.25 to 2.50 which is a good deal

I run out of papers alot and I use cigs .. I empty out the tobacco and fill w/ weed ( leave a small amount of tobacco in there to fill up the space between the filter and the start of the paper ) then tear off the filter before I smoke it. I "tear" it off right at the filter.
But with the high cost of cigs lately, I always save the tobacco to roll and smoke later..
