i dont know what number 2 you are talking about? the pepper spray? you may be using too much dish soap.. if you use too much you will basically clog the leaves which makes it more difficult to transpire moisture. the pepper itself should not be burning the leaves unless you are using too much or the plants are too young aka seedlings.

please be a little more specific

subscribing, could you tell me if this is a mite problem, I noticed the yellow splotches and looked under the leaves and could see micro black pin heads but nothing moving around.

if your plants are small and few in numbers then you can squish em with your fingers but thats only if its in the clone kinda size or a little larger

well i went an picked up a bunch of stuff, I started out with the safer soap/cayenne mix will use that for the next 3 days, if it dont work I will try the mite exterminator mix as I have all those ingredients already!! dunked all my clones and misted the mama, I didnt notice in your post but are you supposed to rinse the pepper mix off?

ya thats def. mites. i would skip all that and go straight to the nicotine spray. the pepper works more like a deterrent than a cure. if you had a few it would be a good remedy but it looks like you have quite a few to have that many suck marks... hope this helps

well only the 2 sourdiesel clones came infected all the others are/were free I just dunked them all to be sure, but I will start the nicotine spray if the pepper doesnt work out. I'd like to see the results before I try something else, but thanks for you help

no problem. also get some silica blast or something of that sort, it strengthens cellular walls and makes plants more resistant to pests and disease

Update: If you want the absolute best thing to kill mites I have found, it is FLoramite SC.. shits wicked and kills em in 1 application. some grow stores sell it in a small vial, just dont ask for floramite cuz it is illegal to buy for non commercial applications.

huge problem with noob spider mite problems is spraying the insecticide in direct light...DONT DO THIS!!!!if in sunlight or HID or LED it will cause the plant to wilt..if u read most spider mite killing sprays it says use out of direct light and preferrably in the morn or at night...i just fucked over about 5 plants by spraying in the sun...not smart...

that being said you never want to spray ANYTHING on your plants under hids.. as stated before liquids on the leaves act like magnifying glasses and will burn the fuck out of your plants

You can do this but you must do all three of these now:

1. Hose all plants down with water and Spray underside of all leaves with Orange gaurd.

2. Bomb your room with pyrethrum bomb. Then bomb it again 3 days later.

3. Put 1 or 2 HOT SHOT No pest strips in your room.

First 2 are organic, Hot shots is not but it is somewhat mild and very effective. you can find hot shots at lowes or home depot.

this is bad really bad basically yu need to burn your flowering crop and treat the vegative crop with a serious product live AVID or my personal favorite floramite
this has a high knockdown rate and will kill all eggs and mites, however the residual is over 29 days

NEVER NEVER NEVER go into flower with mites or other pests. after week 6 its a losing battle. right now its the leaves, the webs are only days away

spidermites taste bad!

yes take this advice to heart, and ignore the advice from capncash

DO NOT spray your buds down with water because first of all you will be inviting mold to take hold, and ruin your crop
DO NOT spray any kind of pest treatment shit in the last 2 weeks unless you want it to taste like orange guard or whatever the hell that is
DO NOT use bombs this late in flower, will ruin the taste, burn the hairs, and wont do much to the mites anyways, hundreds of eggs are hatching on a daily basis

you could do the pest strips but its not going to do much now.. just let em go, chop em early and make sure that you have it under control before flowering next time

this sounds like some of the most inexperienced advice i have ever heard. do not spray them down with water? LOL remember plants cant be sprayed with water,

i know dozens of growers but never met one who isnt familiar with orange gaurd. you could bathe them in orange guard the day before harvest and they wouldnt smell like oranges.

Pyrethrum is derived from chrysanthimum flowers and is completely harmless to your buds hairs and wont effect the taste at all.

just,,wow talk about the blind leading the blind
