Prawns.. shrimp... it's all in the size. LOL... Whats a Pommy?.. Im from Oklahoma. We eat alot of meat. Drink alot of whisky, smoke alot of weed, and shoot at anything that moves in the dark.......and explosives. For some reason we like to blow shit up.
Mate a pommy is a brittish bloke, brother inlaw is from lester in the UK. ive heard of oklahoma but no idea where it actually is in the US, but I must say I'm very jealous. Ive got a weapons licence and own 2 if my own guns but being able to easily use them is another thing. Australia is so strict, either I have to go to a range or someone's property (I don't actually know anyone locally where I can shoot on their land). I live by the coast so I mostly go fishing and crabbing, got a young family but hope I can start getting out to do some camping in the new year. And explosives what are they? Lmao we can even access fireworks in most states.

I'm mostly a beer and meat eater aswell. Love a good old Friday night feed, few beers and a smoke with the fellas ;) then fish on the weekends :-D

Awesome!.. Where I live (rural) there are no rules. You can shoot any weapon of any kind at any hour of the day or night. Most country people practice quite frequently, and sometimes sounds like a war zone out here on a nice day. Oklahoma is dead center in the United States. Explosives are something you can buy at the local hardware store. It's called Tanerite. It's basically pure ammonium nitrate with a little aluminum packet that you shake and dilute into the AN. Set the charge out about 100 yards, and hit it with a good AK47, AR15, and BOOOOOM!... it will make a big hole in the ground, and send a good shock wave back at you. I shoot squirrels, and armadillos out of my front door with an AR22, or .410 shotgun at night... nobody cares. Its just the norm. But 6 miles away in the City Limits,.. that's a different story. You can get arrested for shooting a firearm in City limits. But county is a free for all.. fires, bombs... that's why I dont live in the city limits.

Thats super cool haha, yea nothing like that in australia (well in the country you can shoot whenever you want "if" your property is big enough for it but most of us it dosent happen and unfortunately there has been a large vegan movement causing problems the past few years making it hard to even go fishing).

I actually hope to get over to the US in a few years once this covid has settled down. (I had actually planned on this Christmas but thats not happening now lol). Ill have to make sure I do some cross country travelling so I can check out some of these awsome activities:-) if ever you come to Australia you won't really get to do much shooting unless you know someone who already does it. But hey still loads of other fun things to do :-D

Peace out and feel free to drop me a msg some time

In Vermont we are surrounded by Pine and maple trees all over the place, more trees then people if ya know what im saying... There are only 2 real main cities in vermont to speak of... We all like to grow guerilla herb in the woods (seriously all of us, the woods from July to September are full), drink craft made beer, play our music too loud and shoot our guns anywhere we want to because its totally cool. On a regular basis i can hear anyone of my neighbors poppin off and we can own some pretty cool firearms here that are regulated or illegal in other states. I grew up on a mountain and our play ground was the woods. Vermonters are tough and acclimate to any climate though lol summer time here can be 110°F some days and we have had winter temps at -40°F, our temps can swing almost 80°F in the coarse of a day. That day was a week ago and it was 74°F at 11am and by 6pm it was down to 8°F. Autum season is incredible, our leaves turn color in fall and we get every color in the book, all of our country sides and mountains are covered in beaitiful red, orange, purple, pink, green, yellow, and many combinations of these colors mixed all together, its like a pastel painting.

Mate sounds beautiful!!! Tbh I've recently (last year) started playing with maple with my bbqing, I was getting it down really well, making a pulled pork with an apple and maple glaze. Once the pork was cooked I remove my water pan (which contained fresh squeezed apple juice and maple also) which I then remove the fat off the surface and then reduce down the liquid to a concentrate which I poor over the pulled pork. Oh man I'd love to have maple trees in my back yard hahaha. Would be amazing.

My average summer time temperature is 70 at night and up and over 90 during the day, winter time only really gets to 59 - 77, it really never gets cold here. I pretty much wear shorts all year and sometimes wear a sweater at night if it drops below 60 hahhaa.

So many places id love to visit in the US. Aus is pretty lame in alot of ways, but on the other hand where I live is my favorite place in the country (I have travelled most of australia. The main downfall im finding though is australia is becoming slack with its policing and its really turning into a nanny state/country of political correctness. Cant say somthing without offending someone else.

Getting slightly off topic haha sorry haha

Speaking of topic, i top all my seedlings at node 3 or 4. Imo i want the split in the plant as low as possible and i wouldnt take any clones until you have a decent shoot with 3 or 4 nodes on it off a main at which point id take cuts... (around 3 to 6 weeks from now depending on tye growth rate). Plants look healthy and happy btw, good job... will be watching, cant wait to see the grow... hope this helps mate, happy growing!

I'm also a master baiter, if you need more fishing tips.

Just kidding man. Welcome. But I know you Aussie's can take the trash talk as well as dish it out, lol.

@DoubleAtotheRON introduced me to it. I just haven't busted out the AR to have some fun with them. If I was a little farther away from other people I would be shooting and blowing shit up all the time.

Depends what the goal is, you wanna flower these out and take clones before that happens... you have a predetermined amount of space to do this in, lets say its 6ft tall (just for the sake of the example). Now when you go to flower those you can almost bet they will be 2x the height the started day 1 of flower (plenty of ways to manipulate the stretch but not important now) so you will wanna throw them ladies in ur space when they are half the height you want them to finish at (general rule of thumb, very simple and basic method of judging the flip) so if i was you id let em veg for lets say 4 weeks (dont forget to top the 4th or 5th or 6th node, not to take a cutting but to break appical dominance ((it wants to grow straight up)) id throw em in that space at say 2ft tall to accomidate for equipment over head i.e-lights and let em finish around 4-4.5ft tall. At 2ft or 18 inches tall they will have plenty of shoots off your main branches to take cuttings to make clones, let them start to come back from topping (2 days or so) and then flip, i always try to carry the regrowth energy into the stretch for flower, they seem to be more plump at the end vrs not catching that regrowth energy correctly. Hope this helps good luck and dont be nervous these plants are hardy as fuck and hard to kill completely (not saying you cant fuck a harvest up growing out not ideally healthy and happy plants for you vets itching to correct me here lol) but for beginners and those not selling a product this is a fun and rewarding little journey. Happy Growing everyone!

Dumb aussie question but what's an okie? :s
Just someone from Oklahoma as far as I know. Like you're an Aussie. Canadians are Canucks, and I guess we're Yanks here, lol.
[/QUOTE]

Ahh yep ok..... we usually refer to yanks as seppos but I don't think I've really built up enough of a relationship with enough people here to be using that word ;) I think I'll stick to yanks its not as rude haha I might actually offend people with that comment (actually i have upset some yanks by throwing out that in a dads of twins group on fb)

please don't get offended people !!!!! Haha ;)

Mate its pretty sad the state of decay globally, im not quite shod how to take alot of whats going on in the world atm, I feel for you guys in America atm with your elections, corona virus and riots. Australia isn't much better though, we have had like 5 different PM'S over the last 10 years lol (they are suposed to hold office for 4 years but the parties keep ousting them due to lack in popularity :/ ), my wife is vietnamese, they are humble as hell, just shit we can't get over to visit id rather live in Vietnam tbh.
