Magnesium deficiency? Maybe?

Budz, that was the best (and only) assessment of FFOF soil. Bernie thinks micros are needed for a soil that is ready out of the bag. Micros are used for granular ferts, like bone and blood meal; you put that stuff in the soil and it takes a couple months for it to be ready. If Bernie wants micros now, it's too late in the game. I really don't know where some get their info.

It appears you are on the up-and-up on the science behind this, given your claim that "the plant does a lot during the rest cycle".

I request the data that you've compiled yourself, or at least from the scientific studies that you're poured over that dictates the accuracy of your claim.

I'm not being facetious or sarcastic... please provide citings to your sources that accurately prove this.
"Plant Metabolism and Circadian Rhythms,

While all plants need sunlight in some capacity to survive, they have metabolic processes that continue in darkness. One example of a light-independent process is the Calvin cycle, whereby carbon is captured and converted into stored energy using energy that is stored from other photosynthetic reactions during the day. Another is respiration, where oxygen is combined with stored food to make it usable. Plants usually produce oxygen during the day due to photosynthetic reactions and use oxygen at night due to respiration.

Owing to their internal circadian rhythms, while it's dark, plants anticipate the coming of dawn and prepare for it on a cellular level before their chloroplasts are stimulated by light.

In short, darkness plays a significant role in plant growth, influencing chloroplast distribution, leaf shape, growth patterns and the duration of daily cycles..."

Not only this, but plants produce auxin durring their "rest" period (auxin is a crucial plant growth hormone)

Yes autos can be flowered on 24/0 and yes you can give them a rest period if you like, will it increase your yield, well idk but i do know that rest is important to the growth and developement of a plant and here is the link to the article from the quoted information above,

Dr. Elaine Ingham also has some really good podcasts and youtube videos about what is metobolically going on in a plant when its resting, she explains the auxin hormone better then i ever am going to try to lol and she also has tpns of other really useful knowledgeable videos and podcasts on soil and plant biology and the relationships they share, really good material for anyone growing in soil and or growing period, she is very knowledgeable about plant nutrition and feeding strategies that can be directly applied to cannabis growing as well as many different methods and practices in regards to feeding soil and timing nutrients in the medium.

Id like to also note she has really good material on spotting and treating (actively/preventatively/ and organically) pests, disease, and defficiencies in or on plants, probly very useful information for OP.

I have no comment on what you've posted yet, I just want to let you know that I've bookmarked the link and your post, and will reflect on it after I've had time to properly review everything.

Yeah budz killed it on that ocean forest guide, makes me want to switch over from coco but I’m afraid I just won’t see the same results

You really dont know what microbes do. do ya.

Actually, I do. I wasn't discussing microbes so much as I was talking about FFOF being ready to use. That's the issue. There's nothing wrong with adding them, but for that soil I'm not so sure doing so is necessary. Micros are necessary along with the passing of a couple months to make granular ferts available. FFOF is ready to use out of the bag, like right now.

Guys! It’s getting so much worse. I started pHing my water to 6.5, dropped all chems but cal-mag and lowerd the humidity. What else can I do for her? Do I just keep waiting and see what happens? I’m scared I’m going to lose this plant.

The buds still all look good though. It’s just the leaves at this point (I think) and only on the one plant.

I appreciate the help!

I also changed the light schedule to 18/6.
