yeah my friend who's a postal worker said it's probably that or the mail carrier was sick and didn't do the route and they'll probably be delivered tomorrow.

That is incorrect.
It is not legal to possess cannabis seeds based on federal law. This comes from the Controlled Substances Act, which applies federally. And states that have not legalized marijuana seeds are still illegal at the state level as well.
Hemp seeds are legal but not THC producing cannabis seeds.

The feds will just seize them and that will be the end of that. I'd be more worried about a non-legal state trying to charge you with something. Get caught in West Virginia, Iowa, South Dakota, and a few other states and you could end up with actual jail time. The west coast is legal at the state lever for medical and recreational use. That's why I won't be moving anytime soon. Besides, it's so beautiful here in Oregon I don't think I'll ever leave.

Well it's not like they don't know where you live. Generally when the police are on to a drug package they do what's called a "controlled delivery" where they knock on your door and hand it to you. They don't try to lure you into the post office or anything. Just go down there and get it and pretend like you have no idea who sent you something since you weren't expecting anything. They can't prove you knew about it.

I got some overseas illegal prescription meds once that had that tape all over them but the stealth "these are just viagra" cards they threw in there worked and they didn't seize anything.
