Who made you Pads defender?

Regarding Kamala Harris and her so-called dereliction of duty when she didn't prosecute Mnuchin. Sanders supporters are shrieking and clutching their pearls while they jump to the conclusion that Harris has been bought. Harris did not explain why so we really don't know why. There are plenty of reasonable alternatives to explain why but you are a cynic and so, you naturally jumped to the conclusion this proves Harris is corrupt.

A list of legal donors who made legal donations isn't proof of corruption. If you want to change the way candidates raise money for their campaigns then change the law. As Harris said, anybody is free to read that list and draw their own conclusions but she isn't denying campaign donations solely on the basis of it being corporate money.
You and rhetoric have become pen pals.

Same here.

Reading the statements made about Harris by people who support Trump show an amazing lack of perspective and ego in these people.
The best part is that they both think anybody else gives a fuck about who they want for President. They just can't help it. Such egos.

Somebody must like dry humping beer guzzlers on SCOTUS.

And Ruthie isn't getting any younger.

It's not like I didn't mention that SCOTUS was the prize a couple years ago.

How fucking hard was that to understand?

Won't bother to mention Global Warming and the new and improved deficits from absurd tax cuts for the rich.

Oh even more than that. One person who works on some Sanders PAC or something like one said Democrats are finished if they don't pick "better" people than Harris. The guy who told her "wrong answer" when her honest answer to him was she will accept corporate money or reject it depending on who they are.

Her response? "Well, that's not the answer you want to hear," Harris said. "It doesn't make it wrong."

I like that.

Great.

I look forward to seeing her at the debates.

I thought the Cult of Sanders didn't like her.

Democratic rising star Kamala Harris has a “Bernieland” problem
By A.P. Joyce | July 31, 2017

“The Democrats will not win until they address income inequality, no matter how they dress up their next candidate,” Konst said. “If that candidate is in bed with Wall Street, you may as well lay a tombstone out for the Democratic Party now. Voters are smart; they can follow the money.”

Konst’s skepticism about Harris’s alleged ties to Wall Street and insufficient commitment to populist economic issues reflect a broader trend among the residents of Bernieland. In a recent New York Times profile of Harris, another high profile Sanders supporter, executive director of National Nurses United RoseAnn DeMoro dismissed Harris’s prospects as a progressive 2020 contender, saying, “She’s not on our radar.”

“She’s one of the people the Democratic party is putting up,” DeMoro told the Times. “In terms of where the progressives live, I don’t think there’s any ‘there’ there.”
pada's being sarcastic for those of you missing it..i'm happy fogdog you understand why she won't become president in 2020.

reading is fundamental.

Who are these "establishment Democrats"?

Come to think of it, who are your "Progressive" (or is it socialist?) Democrats in Congress?
the ones who take donor money and owe 'favors'..kind of like trump except not russian money- wall street money.

when you owe favors you no longer work for the people..who incidentally, you are working for.

Was Gillum corrupted by his accepting donations from a big donor?

Just asking because this assumption that touching money from wealthy people automatically means they have been corrupted seems like a leap of faith to me.

Nobody gives money away for free. Not even individual donors. Anyone who gives away money expects a return on their investment. In the case of individual donors, they expect their congressman/congresswoman will represent their interests, that's why they donate..

In the case of gigantic corporations, they also expect a return on their investment. So when a congresspersons list of donors includes 99% big contributors and 1% small, it's pretty easy to tell who that congressperson will end up representing when it comes to the vote

so are u gonna support your candidate with thoughts and payers? or kick down with a little money? Will you expect something in return?....
If you donate to a political candidate, do you not expect something in return?
It kind of disgusts me man, like you would ignore such an important issue. You fucking fought in Vietnam. This shit could legitimately send people to war. Have a little bit of respect, man.. Jesus...
