I get that, its not a bad idea to look into. $2k to get rid of 6k seems like a good deal. Im hoping that my option will come in at $350-$400 for 615W at the wall. This is also more efficient. That said Ill look into that tomorrow to see if its close.
I have 433 bucks in my setup. All lm561c s6 diodes. And I built one with both lm561c s6 diodes and the H inFlux_L06 with lm301b diodes.

This one is (3) f562b 3k strips pushed by a hlg120h, (4) f562b 4k strips pushed by a hlg150, and (6) H inFlux_L06 4k strips pushed by hlg240.
Pushing 510+ watts super efficient.

For what a 4X4? Those are all 2ft strips?

No that's in a 32x32
Im looking to fill a 4x4 with 800-1000ppfd. If it cost your under 500 for that its not a bad price but 4 of the QB96 ELITE V2 would be under $500 total and provide 600W. Downside is its only doing that at 2.28 μmoles/joule.

Whats your setup running for the μmoles/joule how you have it configured? Also have anywhere I can find the PPDD for a 4x4 - 5x5?

Those qb96 elites are the sun. And can handle the current. If your going to light up 4x4 or 5x5 I'd go with those and some qb288v2s gives you more area of light than strips. I havent converted it. Bc I use a cheap ebay/Amazon lux meter. I have it dimmed down. And its throwing roughly on average 95,xxx lux at 18"

Not bad, I did more digging and found that a simalar board design does exist already to what I was looking for. I requested a quote for 32 boards as well as the drivers and heat-sink. I also confirmed that this page had a typo on the Offer 3. Should be a hlg-600 as shown on their other pages. Hard to beat that deal. $514 for 600W with the lm301b running 194lm/W.

I have to figure out if getting to 2.9 μmoles/joule is worth $70-150 more than getting 2.8 μmoles/joule of what ever they come back to me with.
