Hello everyone and thanks in advance. Im on my third grow and im thinking about starting a second tent in soil. Ive been using cyco nutes but not only are they expensive (especialy in canada) but there is like 30 of them...its a giant pain in the ass and im sure some of you folks have a really simple solution. Perhaps a preffered npk value for each stage and how you get there? Thanks again

Here is the good news.
If you stick with growing in soil with experience you will find yourself spending less and less on nutrients over time.

This one part solution looks cool. Do you need to add cali magic if using r.o water?
I don’t but I use well water. Folks under leds tend to need extra than what’s in megacrop. However I’ve never ran into that problem mainly because my well water has plenty. I’ve ran megacrop for a good while. I think they’re changing it this month to add some extra stuff to the mix making it better. So I’m looking forward to the new formula!

You can also mix 25-50% tap in with ro water to add more trace minerals such as calcium and magnisium if you want. GL with whatever you decide. :peace:

I've decided to go with 1 ml per liter of calmag plus and megacrop.
My next question is regarding lighting. I have a new tent coming in the mail. It is 6x4 by 6 feet tall. I was hoping to purchase a 1000w double end and use the strongest inline fan I can find to remove heat. My question would be is the tent to short for this light? With a 500 cfm fan how close can I get to the light?
Was also hoping to stuff as many plants as I can in there.

The problem is you fell for the nutrient companies bull about needing all the extra bottle of crap to grow with.
I use cyco and have excellent results just using the base A+B nutrients.

Look inot Korean Natural Farming if doing organic, or COOTS Living Soil.

I don't like ny of the bottled nutrients, and they are also more $$ in the long run. ALOT more.

Heres what I like

Peruvian Seabird Guano
12-11-2
0-14-0
Kelp
AZOMITE
Promix BX
Biochar
Gypsum
Compost
1 part compost to 1 part Promix...or you can use Sphagum Moss, and Compost, and adjust with Calcitic, and Dolomite Lime.
Compost Bioactivator.

I then use Guano/Kelp Teas every so often, and then top dress each month with Guano, and Azomite every month and a half.

In Veg I use the Veg at a 2:1 formula and in Flower I reverse and use 1:2 parts.
