Christine Blasey Ford to speak with FBI about death threats

Washington (CNN)Christine Blasey Ford, the woman who has accused Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault, will speak to the FBI on Friday in San Francisco about the death threats against her, a source close to Ford tells CNN.

The FBI investigation pertains only to the threats Ford has received since coming public with her allegations last weekend; it is not about the assault accusations against the Supreme Court nominee.
Ford has alleged that Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her in the early 1980s by pushing her into a bedroom at a party and attempting to remove her clothes. Kavanaugh has categorically denied the allegation.
Democrats, and Ford, have pressed for an FBI investigation into the alleged incident, while Republicans and the White House have resisted calls for an FBI inquiry and have said that the Senate Judiciary Committee can handle an investigation into the allegations.


Lawyers for Ford told Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley in a letter earlier this week that she has faced death threats that have compelled her family to leave their home.
"She has been the target of vicious harassment and even death threats. As a result of these kind of threats, her family was forced to relocate out of their home. Her email has been hacked, and she has been impersonated online," the letter said.

A constitutionalist would say that the federal government has no authority to regulate marijuana.

A liberal activist would rule however the party in power wanted at the time.

Its not a child until it is born. Until then it's just a parasite. Women have the right to decide how to live their lives. I realize that you old white men don't understand, which is why we'll just have to write that amendment to overturn right wing partisan Supreme Court decisions that limit women's choice. It's going to take a few years before we can get this done but in about 5 or 10 years Democrats will have the votes for an amendment to protect everybody's right to make medical decisions free from government interference.

Too bad your beliefs will not be considered in this. Actually not.

Too funny that the only hope you fascists have is to suppress the vote and depend on typical low voter turnout during the mid-terms. The Kavanaugh hearings have erased any hope of that.

Whistle past the graveyard all you like. The House is going to go to Democrats in November and it looks as if Republicans will have to settle with keeping the Senate if they manage not to screw up more than they already have. Welcome gridlock until 2020 when the Senate and presidency goes back to Democrats.

Thankfully in America there is a significant number of those on the right who often successfully thwart them. History has shown what happens when the left gains absolute power to decide what is or is not best for people (USSR).

If you vote based on emotions, I hope you stay home instead.

If you vote to use the force of government to benefit yourself over someone else (while calling your opponents "fascists"), I hope you stay home instead.

If you are a typical public educated younger person with no interest in current events, you are probably (not always) a default democrat socialist because of your school teachers, and i probably hope you stay home and read the US constitution and the federalist papers, and study the history of Marxism and socialism instead.
