I was thinking of doing that just cant find the right Ks I want those are a mix of 65,5,3 and 3500 this is just for veg I have 6 Par 38 LEDs I use in floor along with 27 K CFLstheres not a single more effective thing you can do than replace those CFL with $10-20 of LED bulbs
Is squat ass good LOL I was wondering a bout Par LED flood lights in 2700 K and 5000 K. I found some Par 38 LED floods not that expensive to me. Your thoughts on these as I'm about 4 to 5 days from popping seeds in soilthey make them in 5000k and 2700k and the spectrums are different than those same numbers in a fluorescent tube
you gotta experiment but you can cover a lot of range by mixing those two
5000k will veg some squat-ass plants
1:1 or 2:1 (2 5000k + 1 2700k) also works great
Didn't see what Kevin these are would you get 8 of these or find 4 of different Ks like a mixture1050 lm/15W = yuck
you want ones like these, 1500-1700 lumens from 14-15W. and more efficient than that if you pop the plastic covers off

This one caught my eye 3-way LED what's thatgenerally the 5000k "cool white/daylite" are 110-120 lm/W with the covers on and the 2700k "warm white" are 100-110 lm/W with the covers on
thats for the "100W replacements" that run 14-16 input watts
theyre so cheap its hard to go wrong
walmart great value and homedepot ecosmart are like $3-$5 each in 4 packs
picked the 2 above thoughtsgimmicks you dont need
