Plants yellowing in Coco Coir

Yes exactly what I thought. I have not done the flip. They are still vegging on a 18/6 cycle. I germinated from seed. They are two months from the day they sprouted out of the medium, not from when they grew their first set of true leaves. I think that's why I'm saying 2 months. I was going to make the flip either today or tomorrow but I'm not sure. So much to take in, just want to maximize my yields.

I know a couple of people who have already replied to this know there shit pretty good, follow all of us and keep asking questions. First grow?

Yup it's my first indoor grow. My biggest plant is 22 inches from the coco. I have a 7.5 foot tent. With 14 inches for my light I have 6.1 feet from the ground to the bottom of my cooled hood. Take away at least 12 inches for the medium and another 12 inches from the light to the top of the plant I should be able to have veg up to 24 inches max I think. I think they need to be triggered. Looking down on the plants always have me a really messed up view of how big they are. My smallest plant is 12 inches and my biggest is 22 inches. 12 inch plant was stunted due to my bulldog (see below) biting the whole plant from the roots during transplant. I still potted her and she's looking healthy now. I think either tomorrow or Wednesday I'm going to swap the MH bulb out for the HPS and trigger into 12/12. What do you guys think?

They are WAY under sized mate, 2 months of veg and they should be about 50-60cm and thick as a brick!

I feed mine every watering, and let them dry out..the key is to feed less when they are small and work your way up. Make sure you add cal/mag, silica, part a and b, seaweed extract(they love this shit!) and make sure your PH is between 5.8-6.0....I like my PPM at around 600-700 when they are small and I work my way up to 14-1500 when they are pumping then when you switch for one to two weeks of stretch keep giving veg nutes but throw in something like bud ignitor. Then when you are happy with their height and bud sights flush the fuck out of them, down to 0 on the ppm if you can...then give them a half strength dose of bloom nutes with something like big bud, cal mag and of course some seaweed extract..PPM of about 700-800...Then I work my way up too around 900-1100 the next water(from dry) then up to 1400-1600ppm with a PH of 60.0-6.1(best ph for your plant to intake P and K) and by then it will be in full bloom! And when they are at the height of their full bloom and you have given the strongest feed I follow that with just some straight water ph`d to 6.1 with some seaweed extract thats all. Then start giving weaker doses of everything until they slow down and start swelling and the leaves start dying at the bottom...this is when they will put on their weight, no more nutrients will be needed...just give normal water in their feeds and let them eat up all that good shit you gave them and they will reward you with some nice crystal explosion!

Really eh? I was always taught the "wait till the bag is light method" and only feed once every 3 waterings. Maybe that's why my plants are still so small. They've been vegging for just under 60 days and they're only about 18-22 inches from the top of the coco. See pictures below
The picture below is of 2 plants grown in coco - 56 days from sprout - 21 days of 12/12 - fed everyday from sprout and twice a day in flower. These two plants produced 17.4oz. with only a 5 week veg.

This has been the best and most informative post/advice I have been given. I seriously appreciate it. I bought an EC/TDS meter and I'm having difficulty using it. It changes even though I'm putting it into the same testing solution. So I stopped using PPM. I just do the Canna Coco A+B once every 3 feeds (which will be changed to feeding with every water). Cal mag every 3rd water as well. I'm using kelp extract as a foliage spray. I was very surprised at the growth as well. Especially for being 2 months. The issue is, I have height restrictions. My biggest plant is 22 inches after just under 2 months (approximately 50 days since the tap root broke through). I think I was over-worrying about my babies and skimping out on the feeds worrying that they were going to get overfed and die. Now I know, it's very difficult to overfeed to the point where they die. I got some fox farm 6-4-4 stuff and some Enzyme which I'm going to start feeding every single watering (once every 2-3 days depending on the weight of my smart pot)

I wish I could upload iPhone videos so u guys can see what I'm working with.

Those look gorgeous. I'm thinking of
Setting up a SCROG netting for once my babies start blooming. I also topped my girls. This is my first grow and I am completely addicted. I'm getting new babies going under some T5 lights next week so I don't have any downtown once I harvest in 2 months.

Now that I am reading all of your advice. I know I did a few things wrong.

1) over loved them. I kept worrying about burning them so I under fertilized. In Coco this cause a lot of stunted growth.

2) I picked off some of the larger fan leaves. I did this with the idea that more light and oxygen would get to the lower branches. After some research I found out this is a MAJOR no-no.

3) not enough Cal mag. I only gave my girls two shots of cal mag. The first shot wasn't even a half of a full feed of cal mag so I think that's why my plant was showing a Nitrogen difficiency. I gave my stunted white widow (the one that my bulldog bit off) a full feeding of cal mag AND Canna A+B and all she did was show little signs of burning (see picture 3 below) but the growth was exponential once I did that. I think I've now come to the conclusion that I'd rather over feed a little than underfeed a lot.

i was not planning on giving my girls anything for flower. Like extra nutes. Now that I see they are definitely on the small side, I'm thinking about adding a bloom/flower nutrient to my Canna Coco A+B. I know everyone has their own opinion but I would like to know some suggestions on what would work well with my current feed.

Current feed/litre (feed, water, water. Will be changed to feed, feed, feed LOL)
-4ML Canna coco A
-4ML Canna Coco B
-1 ML Cali-Magic
-5ML enzyme komplete (see picture 7)

I have attached a few screenshots of my girls taken yesterday.

Plants grown in coco should be fed everyday. Never just water - ever - it's always feeding time. You're treating it like soil and it's hydroponics.
Aren't there some coir hybrids that recommend watering between feedings? I thought Tupur was one of them.
Not positive, but I think they have a higher CEC than straight coco.

I wouldn't worry too much about picking fan leaves. No biggie, especially lower growth. I generally leave them, but if there's a reason to pick -- like air flow, I'll do it in a heartbeat. I also like to open up the center for airflow.
I am going to trim the living shit out of three big plants today. They are going to lose a lot of foliage, and it's OK.
Gonna flip them, starting tonight!

That makes me feel a lot better but from what I read, it said that the fan leaves are what work as "factories" in photosynthesizing the light into sugar for the plant to grow. I didn't see much difference but next time I'd just leave them unless I really NEEDED to remove them.
