3000ppm in dwc? Anyway to show that? Highest I've run in soilless that contains bio-char which is an ec and ph buffer is 2500 and I got slightly burned. I'm not gonna just believe that high of a number. with roots not buffered in water when I know hundreds of people who run dwc and have never hit higher than 16-1800 @ttystikk could u see 3000ppm in dwc?
I ran EC 2.2 as an upper limit. I'd see damage above that.

As long as you're using the proper ratios, flushing is unnecessary and does nothing for the final product. Have you ever eaten a tomato and thought, gee I used too much nitrogen? o_O

The reason you taste a 'burn' in improperly fed mj is likely the excess phosphorous and nitrogen fed during flowering. The plants need a 1-2-3 ratio, anything higher and the resulting product will be harsh. If they have this in excess its because you've overfed and no sort of 'flushing' can fix this.

Ya well from your quote of 3000 ppm I'd say yours are over fed lol

This snap crackle pop talk made me eat an oversized bowl of rice crispies ......never flush and I can turn over a cashed out bowl and the ash is nice light and falls right out ....smooth and delicious .....but I also got my dry cure game down which is where I think most of the taste and quality come from personally ....dry cure is where good weed is made great and decent weed is made good ......or great weed is made shit by doing it incorrectly ...watering with regular water towards the end is guna do more than flushing huge amounts through a plant .....
