...natural gas production!

Shocking, I know! Who could have guessed?

"DENVER (AP) — A puzzling concentration of the greenhouse gas methane over the Southwestern United States appears to come mostly from leaks in natural gas production, scientists said Monday.

Researchers identified more than 250 sources of a methane hot spot over the Four Corners region of Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico and Utah. They include gas wells, storage tanks, pipelines and processing plants.

Only a handful were natural seeps from underground formations, and one was a vent from a coal mine, according to researchers at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory and the California Institute of Technology. The findings were published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences."

The more I read about this shit, the more pissed off I get. I read a ton of politics sites, blogs, etc.. I especially enjoy the European ones. I love when they talk about how pissed they get when they see a huge American SUV trying to park on their tiny roads. "Where the fuck do you park those things in a place like London?" "Where the fuck do you park a thing like that in Birmingham?" Complete denial of the obvious, right? "Everybody else should reduce, but NOT us!" Guhhhh.

So, apparently, the main dude at Exxon finally admitted, that Climate Collapse, is actually happening! 0_0! Know what he said? Know what that fuckbag said? He said, "Man will adapt!!" LOL - They aren't going to change shit! They are going to drill, frack, pollute, until their own kids die or drown. Because all they are really interested in, is tricking people via Brixon'ing, and Trumping, and everything else, to just pretend that the climate isn't changing at all...and indulging themselves with one...last...big...GULP!

At least places like Denmark are trying to make a difference. Especially when it comes to fracking. And, it's because of people power. Demonstrators. Just enough people showing up blocking the roads, and saying - eat shit, you are not going to get away with this bullshit. Because you know what could happen if that stuff just runs a a muck? All sorts of fucked up shit. There's fucking leaks and explosions. You can turn on your tap faucet and light that shit on fire. Flammable fucking tap water. Which has already happened in Penn State. Lovely huh?

So, thank you and keep it up Denmark. The world needs to know that someone gives a shit about the climate, and is finally winning against the fucking oil companies. Even if they are small wins.

The primary sources of greenhouse gas emissions in the United States are:

  • Electricity production (30 percent of 2014 greenhouse gas emissions) – Electricity production generates the largest share of greenhouse gas emissions. Approximately 67 percent of our electricity comes from burning fossil fuels, mostly coal and natural gas.2
  • Transportation (26 percent of 2014 greenhouse gas emissions) – Greenhouse gas emissions from transportation primarily come from burning fossil fuel for our cars, trucks, ships, trains, and planes. Over 90 percent of the fuel used for transportation is petroleum based, which includes gasoline and diesel.3
  • Industry (21 percent of 2014 greenhouse gas emissions) – Greenhouse gas emissions from industry primarily come from burning fossil fuels for energy, as well as greenhouse gas emissions from certain chemical reactions necessary to produce goods from raw materials.
  • Commercial and Residential (12 percent of 2014 greenhouse gas emissions) – Greenhouse gas emissions from businesses and homes arise primarily from fossil fuels burned for heat, the use of certain products that contain greenhouse gases, and the handling of waste.
  • Agriculture (9 percent of 2014 greenhouse gas emissions) – Greenhouse gas emissions from agriculture come from livestock such as cows, agricultural soils, and rice production.
  • Land Use and Forestry (offset of 11 percent of 2014 greenhouse gas emissions) – Land areas can act as a sink (absorbing CO2 from the atmosphere) or a source of greenhouse gas emissions. In the United States, since 1990, managed forests and other lands have absorbed more CO2 from the atmosphere than they emit.

You mean man made greenhouse gasses. Which is why the whole conversation is so confused.

Just how much of the "Greenhouse Effect" is caused by human activity?

It is about 0.28%, if water vapor is taken into account-- about 5.53%, if not.

So, man made electrical production was responsible for 1.7% of greenhouse gasses.

Transportation was responsible for 1.5% of greenhouse gasses

Industry was responsible for 1.2% of greenhouse gasses

Etc...

Nature is still responsible for at least 94% of the greenhouse gas emissions on the planet at the best estimates of the scientists and NOBODY has explained how to address that issue.
