Yea, I was planning on an other heatsink anyway.
Things wouldn't have fit anyway.

Been running the cutter hard strips for a few weeks now on the Mars Hydro Series 2 driver and it's definitely worth making these, planning to now make 4 - 6 of these bars and running them on 48V meanwell 350W power supply through Meanwell LDD's and Coralux StormX controller. This will ensure all lower parts of the canopy receiving their daily dose of photon's.

Anyway quick shot of Day 44 (The hard strips only in for last 14 Days.)

I'll check it out. I'll probably get some thermal paste, but so far I love the idea of no screws and nothing permanent.

I just picked up 2 of the 4' m-series in 5000k on arrow. Also have a left over 185-48a meanwell too. Does anyone know what wattage I should expect?

I think the Parallel wiring will mean the 4.8A is split between the 2 modules...

So 2.4x whatever the forward voltage of those particular modules is should give you wattage. Are you sure those modules take 2.4A current?

Big smo..you got 5000k..any reason over say 3500?

wanna try for cannabis and lettuce..but mostly lettuce

I'm just messing around. But I would have gone 6500k if they had them. I had a bunch of seedlings in a small area with very good LEDs above them. To the side I had a shitty Eco bar with 6500k and royal blue LEDs and the plants bent themselves over 45 degrees reaching for more. Not sure how or why this happened unless they really didn't want the red

Dude, plants aren't people. They aren't reaching or praying or any other such nonsense.

Yeah, that's what plants do. Use light cues to figure out how to grow in changing conditions, like the r:fr shade avoidance response you are probably familiar with. Google phototropism, blue light, auxins. You've just inadvertently created and witnessed a crude form of steering growth, not seen evidence for plants craving a particular spectrum.
