i agree with you. how and where do you come up with a third party that can get 50 or so million votes though?

perot was the only one that i can recall that got a decent amount of support but still came up way short.

most of these politicians are groomed for many, many years to become Presidential.

here's soemthing to ponder:

don't you think it's weird (not a coincidence) that both candidates obama and mittens BOTH supported the ACA? so no matter who won, the powers that be got the wish of nationalized healthcare system (at least the start of)
The ACA =/= Nationalised Health Care

Are you literally retarded?

You're forced to pay for private insurance now, how in the blue fuck is that nationalised health care?

Just because people aren't charged with a crime doesn't mean it's not criminal, that's a distorted way of looking at things

Although I agree with the latter statement fully. Had a person come to my door yesterday who I guess was supporting Clinton but her only line of argument as to why she was supporting Clinton was so that Trump wouldn't get elected.....seems backwards to me but I guess it's the world we live in today
So, an accusation of a crime means the person is a criminal?

The e-mail thing never was a "criminal" case other than in the minds of the hard right. After 25 years of right wing congressmen and other GOP leadership's attempts to pin something on Hillary, all they ended up with was "mis-handled documents". Just saying that bungling isn't the same as intent to commit a crime.

Will something "big" happen over the next four years? What kind of thing do you think is in the wind? For myself, I was much more nervous about Trump's proposal to create a new arm of law enforcement with the mission to ferret out 11 million people that are already in hiding.

He said "at least the start of" nationalized healthcare. I for one thought the same when the ACA was enacted and still think that starting us down the path of universal healthcare coverage was a good thing.

Committing a criminal act but not being prosecuted makes you a criminal, yes.

Thought I'd put this just in case you didn't understand the actual definition for a criminal.

Considering the ACA was passed without a single Republican vote, Obama sold us out.

We're so behind the rest of the world yet claim to be at the fore, it's embarrassing.

Yeah, we are so far behind Canada and European countries when it comes to affordable and effective healthcare that it isn't even funny. Obama passed an act that made healthcare available to tens of millions who could not afford it before. It was insufficient and has been under attack by the GOP congress ever since. Yet, the ACA was the best deal Obama could get passed during the two years of Democratically controlled congress. After that, it's been a defensive action and a losing one at that. I don't blame Obama for that one bit.

So, I must have been asleep at the time. When has Hillary even been found guilty of committing a criminal act? What evidence has come forward that proves this?
To be found guilty she would have to prosecuted so your post is irrelevant, come on now I thought you were a better debater than that fog

You make my point. I mean, duh, she hasn't even been charged. How can you say she's a criminal? And of what? All I know of are accusations and a boatload of money spent on investigations that went nowhere.

You also say "Accusation and actually doing the deed are two different things" A year and a half of investigation by the FBI on the e-mail blunder/bungle/foolishness by Hillary and her team, up to 1500 agents on the task of going through those e-mails and nothing found. Yet you and others still beat the drum claiming some crime was committed. So I ask, what charges have been leveled and when was she found guilty? Comey said there were no findings that justify charges.

Yet you still beat the dead horse, saying "Hillary is a criminal".

Firstly, I'd like to say that you're one of the first people I've actually been able to have an intelligent conversation about politics with, so I want to thank you for that off the top.

Yes to all of it though. I agree that something BIG-ish is going to happen under Clinton, the framework has already been put in place by Bush and Obama, among others. I hope it's something not as massive as both of us think but I don't have a lot of hope on that front. It seems like at least they want to keep the machine going, which means no HUGE disruptions, but I think that Clinton is the one of the last pieces to a bigger puzzle they've been setting up for years.

*edit: a question for you my friend. Do you think there is anything that will derail this plan? I know that's kind of a loaded question, but I feel like there have been kinks in the armor (so to speak) the more technology pervades our lives. That's really the only hope I have, just wanted to see if you had any other answers for that question
i agree with you that clinton is the pawn that something bigger is coming along. then the dems and repubs both have the same excuse: if we could have come up with somebody better than trump, we could have stopped her. dog chasing his tail all over again.

the only thing that might disrupt the plan is something major in the middle east. israel gets bombarded and they retaliate way over the top. real weapons of mass destruction, chemical warfare, something like that . that's my thought at least.

This kind of conspiracy has been discussed for longer than you or I have been alive. My brother (a real right winger) was convinced that Obama was planning exactly what you said. They even made a movie about it -- 2016.

So here we come to the nexus. You believe she committed a crime when there is no proof. You spout your belief in something that seems true to you but isn't verified as fact. We've gotten to the point where many people, including you, put more faith in their belief than in verifiable facts. That's your right, but it doesn't make you credible in any way.

As a far as any facts are concerned, Hillary isn't a criminal in any way. Oh she's been accused of a lot of things, which is enough for you.

nope, figuratively retarded.

ever hear of Medicaid or Medicare? gov't funded healthcare

how about the ACA mandate that pre-existing conditons are no longer exempt? that's the gov't putting stipulations on private healthcare.

you're welcome for the lesson. now whos retarded? look in the mirror

So her trying to "pin it on Powell" just goes unnoticed by y'all?

Yet again, she lies.

Nothing to see here. Just give her your vote.
this is almost as serious as saying second amendment people should shoot your opponent's judicial nominees, or hillary clinton herself.

or citing a white supremacist hate group during a 30 second ad containing 7 blatant lies.

sheskunk, are you just scared of a woman, in love with white nationalism, or both?

That's called regulation of the private health insurance market, not national healthcare.

umm, Medicaid is government funded healthcare. Medicare is funded through the government but paid for by general fund, payroll taxes and insurance. So, not what you said. And I'm an idiot too.
