Powdery Mildew and Eagle 20

Yea I don't trust the FDA, EPA, any government agency for that matter. They are all bought and paid for.

With that said, from the information I have found across the web and from people I know who have supposedly done lab tests, the half life is roughly 30 days, which means 99.9% of the chemical is out in 60 days. I absolutely despise using chemicals and have never before used them in my grow. It took me about a week to decide to use it, but when all other options are failing, I would rather try and save the crop and do some lab tests myself.

When this crop is finished, I plan on sending some samples to the lab. If people are interested in the results, I will share them here.

Also, as I mentioned previously, it is important to note there is a huge difference between indoor and outdoor. The above numbers are a reference to outdoor.

Unfortunately right now there is a lot of misinformation and lack of studies regarding the science behind cannabis diseases due to federal regulations. I just got done spraying the remaining spores with green cure, if that proves to be a temporary band aid I will unfortunately be forced to spray with a higher dose of eagle 20.
Ya post results and that should work unless the dose was too low to begij with but I doubt it

That's not how half life works. It reduces by half every thirty days.

@High_Haze What products have you tried? What is causing it? Correct the problem if possible.

Why use chemicals if you don't need to? @bryan oconner asked what are you supposed to do. @HydroRed showed pics and proof that an organic product wiped his out. You claimed it to be a joke based on what someone else said without trying it.

That is the problem on growing sites.
My favorite right now is axiom. Helps with anything it's a protein that boosts the immune system. Good shit and dirt cheap for what u actually use

Who bashed you?

You acted like no one was giving the op help. The op was clearly given photo proof of a safer alternative.

Now if you really want called out I could say that to use a chemical like eagle 20 is from laziness or ignorance on how to fix the problem.

It is funny ppl use this and a dispensary was getting sued for the use of it:bigjoint:

So they can't die in the environment even as just a spore if untouched even if conditions are unfavorable? Ex: dry, hot etc
Exactly. Room could be bone dry, temps would have to get well over 90F to eradicate every single spore.

Regarding the unique abilities of Powdery Mildew conidia that I mentioned previously ("no moisture necessary");

"Powdery mildew spores are unique in that they require no external moisture for germination..."

You're using 5ml+ per gallon, that is way beyond what is required to kill the "roots". The reason that you feel the need for such a potent solution is because you have seen it (PM) come back at lower doses. This, because at lower doses it is not active in the plant very long, giving the spores in the room time to germinate and "take hold" of the plant, physical expression of the disease (again) by the end of flower. You're seeing better results with the higher dose due to the eagle remaining active until the end of flower, preventing the viable spores from germinating. Drop your dose to 1ml (if it's absolutely necessary and only in early veg) and foliar with agents that kill the spores. Maintain precautionary foliars to prevent spores from viability/germinating and you will have no need for eagle.

I'd consider 6 weeks of PM not returning after a Green Cure spray a pretty good "Band Aid". Would it have come back after the 7th week is anyones guess......but it allowed me to get all the way to harvest without toxic chemicals and that was worth its weight in gold to me considering I had a good amount of time invested in the grow since I grew from reg seed.
@High_Haze what strength did you end up going on the green cure?

Oh it'll save your ass in flower like crazy I have it just in case for that. Green cure is also a banned substance by the mmed not allowed to be used in medicinal or rec grows. But you can foliar spray with potassium bicarbonate as a nutrient.......more proof they just make up shit as they go

Has any of u posters even tried horse tail teas ? It's a homeopathic herb used by humans as well
Never heard of it what's in it

I boil a gallon of R/O (tap works just as well chorine is boiled out ) this is placed in a #4 coffee filter (staple over the edges to seal in herb) for 15 minutes & then simmer for 2 hrs till u get a film across the surface
cut in half with water when cool , I add touch of fulvic to use as a carrier
spray tops & undersides of all leaves / stems
do early afternoon to dry off before sunset
get leaf not powder herb as the powders is a PIA to use
coffee filter does it's job will not clog a spray unit
that bag is the size of a pillow it goes a long way
