I was in the marines over at 9th ESB in Okinawa then PCS back to the states over at MC Air Station New River in Jacksonville NC next to the famous Camp Lejeune. I was a 1391 which is a Bulk Fuel Specialist. In Oki we were a ground unit supporting any ground unit mission with fuel. And MCAS NR was strait up POG LIFE, but did re-fueling of CH-53, Cobras, and VM-22 (Ofspray). I did claims but I am still waiting on results and blah blah blah,

Shit, at least you got some cool assignments. Like, if I hadn't gone infantry, I'd've wanted to do something I could see the world with. Maybe Civil Affairs or something. But, that sounds like a kickass enlistment. Any reason you didn't reup?

Tired of the bullshit being over worked, doing my Platoon CO job, doing my Staff Sargent job, having to inspect during field days ( every fucking thursday ), waking up at 4:30 to PT everyday showing up at work at 0630and not getting of work till 1730. Having to rat on people ( that officially needed it ). Playing stupid fuck fuck games because someone wasnt looking at who was passing word. Standing in formation for stupid amounts of time. Being told my room was the worst room after being inspected by a 20 year fuck, while I am 26-29. Staying up past 2 am on field days because the NCOs ( at that time ) wanted to ( but then again it was't really the NCOs that did that, it was the staff) Getting yelled at for no reason. Putting out during PT and being told you are a piece of shit. Being forced to stay on base ( was only in OKI ) because officers fucked it up for everyone. (mainly very few times was it the enlisted) Mass punishment, stupid utilities inspection, then they expect you to go get them dirty RIGHT after inspection, getting talked down to. The lack of true brotherhood, the lack of truly helping out a fellow (GI) when he was going down the wrong path, you try to help keep things under the rug that dont need to be brought up the chain and then you get blamed for not trying to help when you did. The OH WERE SO on task on point about mission planning and execution was god awful. People refusing to work because it doesn't make sense. OH every two years you having fucking E-9s coming to inspect your shit and them really really nagging you about the knowledge that no one wanted to teach. Then preping for that we would be working close to 12 hour days because our Head Quarters Platoon couldn't do record keeping right. Doing inventory every fucking week.... even when you dont touch the gear for months... I could keep going and going and going.

Felt good to rant about the bad lol

But there were great things to experience too. I met some of the hardest workers and most caring people ( VERY VERY FEW ) that will be friends for life. Traveling I got to go to Austrilia and do a joint training exercise with the ADF. Memories out in the suck... Very very few positives that just dont out weigh the negatives.

All in all I enjoyed my 4 years not a single NJP or 6105 but page 11s for being slightly over weight

I suppose. I get the fuck fuck games part, and all the bullshit. In fact, you even brought back a few memories.. Haha! To each, their own, as enlistment's a very personal decision. I dunno why, but despite all that bullshit, I originally intended to do 20 before they medically retired me.

If you ever need anything, though, brother, let me know.

Here is a picture of the others I got... same set up but have not started any nutes. The far left plant is that random seed I got from smoking my first bud in a new town. The far back one is the Arctic Sun ( I WANT to clone many many many many many many many of these) but I also got like 30 of these seeds given back to me from my buddy who grew it many years ago. Its nice that I am having no problem germinating them with the paper towel and 2 plates and have them sit just under my tv for some heat a little bit of wind from the AC. I would try the soaking in water and I wasted about 8-10 seeds. The far right is the GDP! There is a 4th cup I got a seed to germinate and potted it yesterday! I am in for a stinky apt! But I got 2 tents one for veg and flower.

Been a week into flowering I dont know if this looks good or not lol... What is your input to who ever looks at this?
I am going to use bigger pots next grow I got 4 other plants growing 2 Arctic Sun 1 Grand Daddy P, and some random seed I got. I want to make sure with this plant I can properly grow GDP and the AS ( the AS i smoked years ago, I had horrible back pains and a buddy of mine grew it and my pain went right away!!!)
I feel like that this plant is just basically meh ok so far but this is a learning experience for my next ones!
I dont know the strain at all but I know its a close if not a top shelf seed.

They look good man, making the most out of that space. Since it looks like you started stress training them early you basically reshaped it's growth so i say they are looking good. You should see more progress in 2 weeks or so depending on the slight stress from keeping them down. Once it starts switching it's focus fully to flowering it's gonna fill up with bud sites everywhere. Looking forward to updates.

I would put back the strings and add more actually as you need to keep it growing in the same spot. The main goal to is keep all the bud sites at an even level so they all become "prime" sites. I have seen when the strings are removed the plant will eventually go back to its natural up position. I just recommend do some sort of lasso knot so that you can ensure the holding loop is large enough for growth.

Edit: something like this

They are filling up in the center real nice, do you know what strain that is? Is it feminized? You put them into flowering on the 3rd right? You should start seeing sex in the next 3-6 days. Do you have any pre-flower signs?

This one ended up being a male (there were 2)

Then finally this beauty came. (the one of the left is a clone of the right)

*Edit- Following. We're both using 400w and flipped on the 3rd, should be interesting!

Just saw that my tap water ppm is less then 100 but the ph was at like 8.2... I have a feeling (because I wasnt checking EVERYtime) that the burns on my leaves are due to high ph. I was going to start doing hydro, so I have everything for a bubble tub. So I added some PH down and now running a air stone in the water I use. Not sure how these plants are still alive

Looking good! I would wait to take the strings off they might pop up on you. I actually just tied mine a little more back yesterday for the final time to open up the middle more.
