Awesome grow fandango, I took an airplane ride from columbia over Calaveras last summer. Was amazed how big that fire got and was crazy to see so many big grows that got saved while the surrounding buildings were toasted. Looked like Christmas tree farms in September out there. Happy growing and thanks for sharing!

Thanks, the fire was one hell of a big deal.Lots of folks that got burnt out have moved on and lots of weed growers have moved on in here.
I was up on railroad flats the past week, fixing some solar problems working for a grower who had parcels on each side of the highway,
If all goes well for him it looks like a harvest of over 1500 or so pounds....now that's a lot of trimming dude!IMG_6576.JPG

Ya was sad how many peoples lives were negatively affected by the fire. People over here in Tuolumne were getn worried it would spread and jump the river. Hopefully no big burns this year. Dam that sounds like alot of hard work. Hopefully it pays off big for him!

Turns out these big growers sell the weed in 500 lb units, this guy lets his bud go for 1200 the lb.
So,I was thinking?now that's 600,000 and a whole lot of worry collecting that kind of money in 1 deal?

bugs...go away spray....this Wagner paint sprayer is great, throws a large fog in minutes with no pump action.View attachment 3740580
Looks like you got the bugs and yourself with that spray. :dunce:
Please put a mask on, and some protective clothing.....your killing yourself, and we don't want that.
Love the updates and pictures, and I want them to keep coming.
Be careful Fandango.

Due to the urgency ordinance here in calaveras Mon no longer growing, was hoping to have a greenhouse but with all the commercial growers, more than 700 registered, the county now has 3.7 million for enforcement. They have hired people to fine and rip out plants with money from the commercial growers.

They also took photos from the air and the choppers are flying again. Mon is happy for the perps who get to grow but, now mon is done. No Christmas and hardships coming, can't even sell the house, since urgency ordinace, house sales here down 75% not sure what mon gonna do. Mon is depressed, slept all day just woke up, happy for all the growers who get to live their dream but mons was crushed and thrown away.

Man mon that sucks. Maybe time to get a barn or one of those metal garage/warehouse if you can. This is definitely scary stuff and the way I see the rest of the state going. I'm saving for a licence, but I'll probably just quit if it does come to that.

The county has given a lot of power to the sherrifs, plus they are using code enforcement, on hoophouses & greenhouses must have permits for anything bigger than 120sq. They have a mariujiana tip line for neighbors to snitch, plus the commercial growers are snitching out gardens because they "paid" to grow.

Mon will prolly lose everything or become an outlaw, neither sound like an option. Not sure what to do, might just walk away from it all, lose house and all, can't take it for much longer, nearing the breaking point, stupidly threw all the money into house to move and got stuck not selling.

Sounds like some bullshit there. Sorry to hear things going backwards.
Thanks, me too. Had all the growers just ignored the urgency ordinace the county wouldn't of had the money to enforce but now they have over 3.7 million in funds to go after us and they will start taxing them $2 a sq ft next season. They estimate 12 million county will make.

It was a game changer, all this ordinance horse shit...5000 up front,6 foot no see fence, water board fee1000(for being close to dry creek.
Next season, add 2.00 per sq. foot tax and living quarters(min size 900 sq feet)
Sorry Mon,
But if you need a bag of smoke,I will have some extra I can give you for Christmas gift.

Thanks buddy, reading mon post again sounds self centered, mon doesn't need christmas gifts. Mon meant for the kiddos, but sometimes it's good thing for the kiddos to see how good they had it. Mon harvest always bought school clothes or other things we can't afford.

It's only one and half acres, mon had just harvested light dep not too long ago so money was not the issue, property needed to be two acres and fell short of requirements. Was gonna move Cuz bank said the place was worth 300k, cleaned up place, put up new fences and gates, paint, etc....but appraisal said place only worth $239k still owe 127k. It still leaves something to put down on new, but got depressed because thought 300k now it's only $239k. Plus kids just start school today, hard to move and uproot family when nowhere to go and not sure where to go etc......plus what if move then that county does same chit as many are banning or will follow suit.

Tryng not to make bad decision, thnking wait Til November, see what new law or permant ordinace says?
