I feel sorry for the noob seeking help here.

The only reason Amare gets bashed is jealousy. None who have bashed his lights have owned them, let alone done a side by side, and with their obvious vitriolic bias, I wouldn't trust them if they did

I get the use of lights because I give an honest report of what I a see them doing in real time, with lots of pictures to prove it. They all want to see my threads/grows before committing, so I must be doing something right

It's the silly jealous bashing that stopped me from posting here 2 years ago. I don't know why I expected the mindset to improve

Here's a couple 'pathetic plant' pics under an Amare SE 250 with ~ 10 days to go that I will leave you with

Signing off

Those look terrible lol.tell ya what, have amare send me a light and ill do an honest side by side .hook it up man, amare should be anxious as hell to see a side by side from another grower right?

Amares website is down......

You realize you could DIY more efficient cobs and add some supplemental colors via Fluence bars and get much better performance, efficiency and cheaper right? And cover a larger area with higher average PPFD not single point PPFD as they use for bloated advertising.
I have said this many many times, with a discount I paid much less than the 6 3070 cobs that guys who advertised here sell. I'm doing the bar for fun. There is no way a normal person can create the se450 without it looking like a rat trap which is what most DIY looks like. My rooms not huge but it's probably one of cleanest and most professional room around. The Amare fits well.

Really this light I'm building will outperform Amare 5600k not 5700k I need to slow down on the smoking lol and it 93-95 CRI BD bin. I should've ordered more because the 10 I have I'm using on this build and @BM9AGS you gave me the inspiration for the new design thanks a million.

Sounds like my buddy who says his Toyota is faster than my wife's Benz. It's still a rat trap and your only competing with yourself. Amares goal wasn't to make a light brighter than yours.

Do you know what bins exactly? Or just cxb/cxb 3070
I should ask but I assume they are top bin. He coulda saved money by going with a steel case and hardwarelike everyone else but he chose aluminum and stainless. Doesn't seem like the type to cheap out.

Maybe....the small multi color LEDs are not the best around so who knows. I know from my experience they could use a lot more 450nm blue for veg only mode and dimmed the cobs down. More red too. But the cob should cover it.

There is probably better. I dont know enough when it comes to the small stuff to realize though. I have seen amazing results so far and the start to finish buisness has been perfect. DIY is defo cheaper but most like me awhile back couldn't be bothered.

I can't believe how the people who advertise here act. It's extremely unprofessional. Luckily you can still sell shit cause the market demands it but being 100% honest I would NEVER EVER buy a light from a clown here. Almost did and feel like I was saved.

I read for the last hour or so and see what's going on. I'm partially biased towards Amare cause I'm killing this grow and I really like the personal conversation with victor but it's all jealousy. The markup on a few cobs slapped in a case is good. Going to the next extreme and adding in not so profitable diodes and uv just doesn't make sense to the bottom line which I can tell by the attitudes here is money. Fuck all the data shit, it's an amazing light. Today we hit temps in the 90's my rooms not capable of handling it so I shut down the monos to help. Pretty cool shit right? I think the whole +-5% efficiency shit is over rated and the time spent bickering over it useless. 2 of autos just paid for 3 lights, one auto just paid for the lights and nutes used in the past 80 days. Luckily I have luckily I have 10 plants left. That's where the numbers work for me. Could I save 10 messily dollars a month in energy by not having the monos? Would I pull the same weight without having the monos? Who knows and who cares. There are some completely fucked up individuals here. I'm done with these lighting pages. Now I'm on to see if guys argue this much over nutrients and pot choices.
I don't think it's fair to group all the advertisers here into one category of unprofessionalism. I've gotten great service response and some freebies from NGL, PLC, Cutter & kingbrite.

Amare will soon have all the latest and greatest tech in their late 2016 release as you probably know. Cxb3590 & xp-G3. But the price point is just outside of what many people can afford to get into. So they don't really have the opportunity to evaluate their ROI if they can't muster up $2000.

@BM9AGS made a light using rivets and I thought it was was the one who thought of it and I completely forgot about your vids and he was man enough too say you were the one who gave him the idea. You the man and hit me up when you are free. This is what I have done so far and making a new thread about the 5600k 93 CRI it should be interesting.

It should be done by tonight if I don't get too stoned lol.

It is possible. I had a friend who had an 86' 8.6 sec Toyota Supra and I had a 350hp turbo Acura Integra back in 2000 when I was young. Don't be mad that I can make lights but so can you just man up.

For Veg the Spyder X is fine but for flower it is not intense enough unless you wanted to only cover a 2'x4' & push the bars in close.
The SpyderXPlus on the other hand would be perfect to grow in a 4'x4' or 5'x5'. Smart company, great components, one of the best spectrums around IMO too. At 12" above the canopy you can now grow with the proper intensity to flower.
Thank you for all the good info you provide. I was thinking the same thing cuz i was just looking into getting one the SPYDRx 340w and i thinking shit.... thats actually kinda week for flower for i was thinking it would have to go into a 3x3 tent but then it won't even fit. Im not being any suggestion footprints and 1k for a veg light i just can't do.

Glad to help n thanks! Fluence is my favorite Low-led (12"-)(term I made up, not real) Never used one but liked BML allot & have been following their progress since. Learned allot from the BML web-site when I first got into led. Usually recommend it as a good read. Their prices dropped big time since BML.

@Big smo, don't get sucked in bro. Notice how many talk bad about the company we like, all the while using them as the standard to beat? Then you got those who think adding 3 differant lights together to achieve a similiar spectrum & intensity. Oh, n don't forget the guys who say DIY but don't know how so they pay $2 a watt to rivet n zip-tie a bunch of pre-fab shit, paying $3 a watt by the time their done & end up w/ junk. I see these guys try everything to avoid giving this company props. How bout them dudes that think they know a better way to enhance the spectrum. Lol! I'd use more 450 or 660. Hilarious! I'm sure they've done so much testing. All theoretical BS.
Just post your results homie! These guys don't have results to post. Just shit to talk.

See sig again.

You would use more 450 or 660nm...Why....what has led you to this...Have you measured morphology, THC content or Terpine Content....anything other than anecdotal evidence?

No name calling or shit talking here, please just answer that question...I suspect you won't. or will use the made up phrase Cannabis Action Spectrum, which means nothing.

After 5 years of constant perpetual, I still am remiss to make such speculative comments like you do about spectrum or overall PPF, not high or Low led, wtf does that even mean?

Please stop, you are only person to use the misnomer of HIGH and LOW led. It is not correct.

Lies are being corrected, no "shit" is being talked.

You are funny though....you make the statements, no one is putting those words in your mouth but you.

Did you also forget that you are using the N word and calling every one who asks you a question that you won't answer: a salesman for said light company...

Like I said, the 6 checks or so I collect, from each LED light company, leaves me ample time to fix your mistakes. :leaf:

Now your talking, I had a 92 teg my first car. Hard earned money, never dynoed it but she was above 275hp. Fast little fucker lol.

It was out of line. I do apologize to all advertisers here that don't act like children. I own businesses and I just seem to do things much differently. I always thought DIY is the way to go. My 4 3590's, 4 2530's drivers and all the bs cost me just under 700. But it's not for everyone. With sales that are constantly run u can pick up a se-450 for 900 or less. It's tricked out with a full warranty so I do see why it's sold out.
