Full season girls yesterday got some attention.... Everybody got some chicken poop and got started training.

Left to right:
sunset sherbert - no training yet, but her new home is almost ready
jack 47 - pulled main stalk out to open it up a little, still need to take a few more cuts off the bottom (lollipop)
mutant NY sour diesel - she'll be moving out soon as well
Darkstar - took about 12 tops off of her and pulling her main stalk down

From right to left this time:

OLH - moving out soon
Sweet Cheese - took about 12 or 13 tops
Ghost Rider - just transplanted
Candy Tree - beasty

Candy Tree and ghost rider...

elsewhere.....

week 2 Curing "Friday", already smoked a good deal of the popcorn buds....Excellent fruity earthy flavor, and a nice sedative effect. We're really looking forward to the finished product in a week or two.

Something started snacking on my seedlings at night in the greenhouse!!! He mowed down 6 jalapeños 2 tomato seedlings and my only two fucking seedlings of Orange bud!!! :wall::cuss:

I finally got hip to the game and covered them with some shade cloth and put them in a cardboard box...for now (they seem to like it in there though).... argh

Also got the Gigabud transplanted into the raised boxes in the greenhouse.

I like your soaker hoses. Last year when I made a pot of above average intelligence, I used two sections of cheap garden hose with holes drilled in them. I put them about 6 inches under the surface, one near the center and one closer to the edge. I had a Pruden's Purple tomato in it, and after I got the water adjustment right, I didn't have to mess with it unless we had lots of rain. I left it on all the time. That tomato was over six feet tall when it finally broke over from too much weight. I had half-assed the caging.

I'm gonna guess a mouse of some kind - they mow down my seedlings all the time! My control method?
Mother fucking mice. Got another tomato somehow, definitely gonna have to get a costco sized box of mouse traps.

I'm going to pick up a water timer once I get the schedule dialed in better. We got a ton of rain friday and saturday morning and it beat the shit out of the tomatoes, they're almost 7 ft tall and just too big for their britches...and cages.

I really like those soaker hoses too...I think I'm going to switch out some of the old drip lines in the flower beds in favor of them as well. I already laid them in the beds with the tomatoes and peppers, and I'm probably going to use them on the guerilla grow.

Found them at Wal mart... 2 pack of 50 footers for 20 bucks!

I've used a lot of them. But it is harder to curve them from row to row. And when they do get a leak, it's harder to repair. But at that price, you would just replace them. I've got to do a home made soaker for my new pepper patch. I'll post a picture when I get it done.

Soooo....I absolutely love our new home hear in Nor-Cal. But I wish I was back in Ohio today.

The Cavs ending the Cleveland curse last night was the craziest emotional feeling I think I have ever had, and today, I'm on fucking Cloud 9!!
I'm a Step fan, but last night the Cavs were the better team. When Step did that behind the back turnover, I knew they were screwed. You have to value the ball more. In a close game, any one turnover can cost you the game.

Honestly, against any other team...I probably am rooting for the Warriors, I like Steph, and Steve Kerr, and I really just like watching them play.

But I was born in Youngstown, which is halfway between Cleveland and Pittsburgh and I was a Cleveland sports from fan from the womb. That fandom was bequeathed by my Dad, who wasn't old enough to remember the Browns NFL title, and unfortunately didn't live long enough to see this day. The curse ending on Father's day was so crazy serendipitous. it's hard to describe.

I've been wandering in circles all day, just drinking beer and smiling

I know the feeling well. I'm a huge Nole fan, and when we won the Natty {in football} after trailing and looking like crap most of the game, it was a good feeling. Ne have never won the big one in hoops, {my true love}, but we did take the ACC title a few years back. Ham almost smiled.

Coming down off that high a little bit....so back to the weed :weed:

So out yonder in the NW corner of the property we have new homes for the OLH #1 and the sunset sherbert

Tried to put em far off the beaten path and out of view from 90% of the property, but they get plenty of sun. Just a little bit of shade in the afternoon to keep em cool 8-)

pretty incognito, I think...you can barely see the cages

closer up
