flushed too early

I think I started flushing too early, all my leaves are turning realling yellow and my trichs aren't amber yet. Some of them on the sugar leaves are turning amber. The sugar leaves are turning really dark too. I've been flushing for about a week and a half now because I thought they would be ready by now. They have 9 weeks of flowering and are going on week 10. Almost all of my pistils are brown but I'm not sseeing much amber yet. Should I give them a shot of nutes to keep them going?

feed for one more week with light nute strength, then wait and see if you get the ambers you want
i've heard of people cutting the top cola and leaving the popcorn buds for another week to mature.
Whats the worst that can happen if you feed again?
but then again ive also heard that people harvest the plants and the trichs still turn while drying .

I would not try to salvage what you have already done. It's going to need more than a "shot" of nutrients at this point. This late in the game they aren't going to show much improvement now. Amber trichomes are a tell tale sign that the prime time for harvesting is over. Of course it's all what you like, I harvest when the trichomes are all milky I do not like when the THC degrades to Amber.

I like a snappy energetic high most of the time. Sometimes I let them go a little amber for my dad "old fart" lol he likes the narcotic sedation from mostly Amber trichomes.I t does ease his degenerative disk pain and cancer symptoms
Same here... I hate smoking weed that makesme not productive and tired, its annoying when you want to get out and get shit done lol

I love these flushing threads... So idiotic, lol.

Gratz you jacked up your plant right at the finish line.

One of these days you stoners will figure out how to dry and cure properly, but I'm sure there will always be a few "outliers" who think it makes since to "flush" their plant to death.

do you have a link on how to harvest without flushing?

I was hoping to get some amber trichs to get a more sleepy high but I think this will do. 75% cloudy and 3% amber. Think these will be OK to keep going another 5 or so days? Couldn't I just give a light dose of nutes to keep em going till I get amber but light enough to not fuck up the taste

Go for it, growing is all about trial and error. If it doesn't work, don't do it next time... yes light nutes
Buds look great btw

Your fine going till your trich's are within your range, your leaves arent even very yellow yet. I would keep on with the flushing and learn from the experience :) BB

Easy: You don't.

People flush because they believe they are ridding their plant of excess chemicals and that somehow this is going to make their smoke taste better.

Not only are you depriving the plants of nutrients at a critical point in it's life cycle but you're also wasting water, energy, and time.

The harsh taste of herb disappears during a proper dry and cure, making flushing utterly useless and if you take the time to read what wonderful information is available on the site you'll see it's mostly another stoner myth.

Of course now there is exceptions, like flushing with mountain dew or bacon injections...

For flushing I would say everything looks just fine. I like to experiment with flushing and not flushing and I really can't tell much difference, but if you're going to do it its best to start when there is still white hairs on the plant, otherwise it's not going to fade much which is what you WANT from a flush. My last run was far more yellow when I harvested compared to what we are seeing in those pics. The plant will be fine, it's done growing, but with just water the trichomes will still mature, even after you cut them down for a few days. Don't stress, you had a successful first grow and you'll be all the better next time which is a lot more than many growers could say for their first run.

Nah cunt, YOU fuck off.

If you can't handle some heat you shouldn't of asked for advice, everyone here is just trying to help you.

It's the internet so sure there are going to be a few blazing remarks here and there but if you don't just let them go and get all hostile like this you're not going to have a good time here. Trust me people will say some nasty things on here! Just because most of this sight is stoners doesn't mean they are all happy hippies. There are a few jerks on here but that's just how it is.
Don't get emotional snowflake
