The point is that taxes pay for things in society

When someone steals from you, do they normally buy you things?

How can it be theft if you get something in return?

2 men wake up in the morning. If one has a right to free food the other has an obligation to create that food for free.

So, you are making a slave of some people to give other people free shit.

Every 'Right' that people demand come with an 'Obligation' to fulfill that right.
Wasn't the first guy the one that broke his back removing the rocks and tilling the land to make the nice field the 2nd guy now utilizes?

Have you never wondered why China/US Corps don't pay to protect the safe passage of the goods it supplies? Billions being spent on Arctic Oil protection that will be consumed by China. (see Exxon)

Damn my back hurts.

No one starving here. Eat free at every temple around, everyone who needs it
No meat....and only on Sunday's holidays and the 1st and 15th.....can't go get free food everyday if that's what you are implying. Still not a bad deal. Plus, the year round growing season! How sweet is that!?

For the record, temples in the United States do the same thing.

If you create a benefit it must be paid for by an obligation. If you think the rich are gonna be digging up the rocks you are fooling yourself. By demanding more 'Rights' in the form of supposedly free shit that somehow must be paid for we further enslave ourselves to the government.

So we should sink our Navy to reduce the "Obligation"?

What does the navy have to do with supposed 'Rights' which are really 'Benefits' that people now want again supposedly for 'Free'

I am not a military hawk, I would be completely fine with reducing the military along with reducing the size of government , subsidies, handouts, etc.

People managed to make it work without all this bureaucracy.

I was pointing out how the Department of Energy pushes policy that benefits the Oil Industry but will be paid for by me and you.

I wanted to feed you, but Exxon comes first.
