RIU breeders?

Shit, that's beautiful. My eyes just bulged right out of my head like a cartoon animal!

I suppose it's beyond the realms of possibility that any of you clever people want to expand your operations by having your beautiful creations grown in the UK? Euch... I just nearly mad myself sick, that wasn't meant to come out so crawly! I'd just love to grow something a bit different, all we usually get is cheese, blues or lemon haze and I'm working on getting myself a bit more variety. I've got some Heisenberg Special beans to pop when I can fit them in the flower room but it's awkward cos they're autos and my white widows and cheeses are all photoperiod.... Anyway I'm rambling, but mad respect for breeders who work to improve the strains they work with, one day I hope to be that good :peace:
I'm trying to suck up to them as well. It isn't taking.

I'm looking for some "locals" to get seeds from. I'm tired of herbies, attitude, gorilla, etc.... though they can send good weed to you, I've never gotten anything stellar. i know about @bigworm6969, but would love to see some other breeders around here too.

I have seeds from Thailand, Laos,Afghanistan and central America all crossed and climatized in Southern hemisphere. If exporting to Northern hemisphere can take up to 6 months or 2:3 crops indoor to climatise.

Ive sent beans to a friend in the UK. Exact same reason. He was looking for something different from all the cheese and blues.

Yeah that's all that seems to be readily available at the moment! Once my white widows are done I'll have some pennies to get myself some seeds and mix it up a bit but I'm wary of all the hype that comes with seeds from the online stores, I want a decent smoke that makes me feel good and helps with the pain, but the strain descriptions all seem to be competing THC numbers or some new "special" and I don't want to get sucked into that. I'm really enjoying growing and I'm learning so much from each lot of plants that I grow but a lot of it is kind of trial and error as I've figured it out, and I just think it'd be awesome to get my hands on something a bit different, preferably without having to pay over the odds because it's won a cup somewhere. Obviously I don't expect anything for free, I know a lot of work goes into making the beans that are a bit different, as well as the postage costs. I just think maybe too much stock is put in whether it looks pretty on the bag or if some magazine has mentioned it and that's not what I'm looking for in my weed, I guess. It makes it harder to get my hands on something a bit special cos all anyone has is the run of the mill stuff. It'd be awesome to grow something for someone who is really working on something cool cos it'd be a great chance to expand my knowledge for everything else I'm doing and want to do. I'd be really grateful for the chance to learn from anyone who has the sort of skills that can come up with strains like the honeybee, and loads of others too, I have an awful memory but I know I've seen some amazing looking plants in the breeders' threads on here. I grow in coco, veg little plants under a 2 lamp t5 and my 11 WWs are under 2x 600w hps. I plan on getting some perlite for my next batch; my white widows have ~20% perlite but I ran out so everything else I have at the moment is pretty much straight coco and I'm not liking the difference. I've just discovered silica and had some good results with it. It's all in my journal in my sig anyway. This is kind of turning into my grow resume right now, and it's sadly lacking! Lol I don't know, just keep me in mind please if any of you ever want to know how something turns out in the hands of a beginner who just wants to grow herself some decent weed?

I myself am not a breeder at all, though I would like to try my hand when laws relax in my state.

Pretty much, given the number of UK seedbanks, you should peruse those (Herbies, Attitude, Midweek Song etc.) And when you see something that intrigues you, search here to see if anyone has run it, what their experiences were etc. A lot of this is trial and error and picking out good strains with varying flavors is no different.

Me and my UK friend coordinate our purchases and swap beans. I tend to send him things Only found in our domestic seedbanks. He is running IHG Crystal Cookies I sent him, more successfully than I did I might add.
