My very first grow was under a 150w incandescent. Trainwreck. Yielded about a quarter to a half oz. I cut her down early too, and only fed her MG nutes.

You can definitely grow under a 100w incandescent.

If you're "all natural" then grow outside where the sun can compensate for your lack of funds.

First you have 3 posts so how could you have heard anything.
YOu asked the question
The answer is either yes or no
I said no and you negitive rep me

Rep dosent work when you have so few posts

I guess fuck you for asking ohh and here is the fact

Incedesent lights produce 17.5 lumens per watt
MH 1000 produces 115 lumens per watt
and the most efficient bulb is the HPS600w at 150 lumens per watt

The only supplies you mentioned having was a 100W incandescent, and a back yard filled with soil. So I would check to see if there is anything else growing back there.

Last time I checked, a 100W bulb wont do too much for your outdoor grow LOL.

He asked if it would work for all four stages... You said no, which I know for a fact is incorrect.

Dude i'd say you know NOTHING about growing weed. Incandescent lights ARE worthless...HID's and flouro's are the way to go bro. Let us REAL growers do the growing...and you just smok our stuff...your giving the WORST advice EVER!!!!:evil:

It goes like this...

1. germenation
2. seedling
3. vegetation
4. flowering (bloom)
5. harvest
6. dry and cure (min 1 month)
7. smoke and enjoy

Do you have no money at all? You could use flourescent lights, either compact (CFL) or 2' or 4'. Maybe you can borrow one from somewhere else in the house.

You can grow outside, but it needs to be the right time of year in many (most) areas and is usually a once a year thing since you can't control the sun.

You can grow with a regular light bulb but it's really really inferior to other options and I've never even heard of a respectable amount of bud grown off one except for the one guy in this thread. Usually people post using them after a couple months of pathetic growth wondering why it's not working.

You need to watch some video's or read some books or at least the growfaq on here or something.
