DE hps 1ks. And a minisplit that gets cold enough to chillem out if i need to. I just dont want to freeze the plants for like five or six day for only one strain...

Im running a gdp cross right now, or was. It was eliminated. Ironically it was crossed with plum....so it was still gdp even after the cross  i also read that the gdp guy isnt very liked by a lot of people so i aint givin him my moneys.
Am sorry alien I meant to ask the guy who says that GDP didnt give him good yield

Dehumidifier raise temps in my garden.

What about this 180pt air fehus?
Its just an industrial dehu. They work like a gem. I can get my rh stable at 40% and itll only spike to 45 after i water everything. Theyre a little pricey, like over a grand, but totally worth it if you live in a damp and dismal area.

Do they prouduce heat as well?

I have a good one already, not industrial but its doin its job fine.

The only thing it raises temps to 21/22

But even then am also happy bcz i like high humidity during veg and early flower

Around 65%

But if i let the temps get down ill be hit with mildew and rot!

So ya I would like to have something by genetics that turns purple.

No body likes kens, he looks like an ass hole.

However, if he will make me happy then I dont mind to pay him.

Oh and by the way heard that TGA deep purple turn purple 50\50

Depends on the genes but its not also avaliable any where in the EU :s

In the USA you have Querkle which is purple but its only clone!

To be honest that 180 pt puts out, id say less than a quarter of the heat of the home use 50 - 70 pt dehus from the hardware store. It also only pulls 11 amps vs the 70 pulling 6. So over twice the dehumidification and under twice the power draw. If its wet that thing will pull almost three five gallon buckets worth of water a day!

the quest for purple is a no way..ive run many supose to be purples,,,700.00 in seeds only 2 purple plants,, dutch passions purple#1 turns purple 2 weeks into bloom but yields are very very smalll,,i mean worthless.. also gdp turned semi purple but again no yield.. i still have several purple seed strains grizzly purple kush, purple by white lable, lady purple by dj salman, ultimate purple by bcbd, the purps,, and more i have no intentions of planting any time soon.. igave up on the purple quest!!!! there is purple plants but of all the ones i tried they all fail or fall short... i GIVE UP!!!!!

Hydro right?

I will get flamed for mentioning this, but stoner myth has it that adding ice the last week of flower Will cause a stress response to produce anthocyanins. Anthocyanins are a type of flavonoid, and is responsible for red, blue, purple ect in flowers.

The catch is the genetic has to be able to produce anthocyanins or you are spinning tires. This is why flowers are cloned in flower shops. That specific plant produces a lot of anthocyanins, giving it it's vibrant color.

So I would say find a strain with known anthocyanin production and then figure out a way to my the plant express itself. Cold temps, both air and water. Purplemaxx or a purple supplement. Drought. Light dep

My 2cents

use blurple leds if you are desperate for purple. For me, even with white cobs, I endup with a bunch of purple buds, and I am not trying. lots of strains from jordan of the island will turn purple as well as about 50% of the strains I grow will have purple on the sugar leaf to some extent, actual purple buds a little rarer but like I said I am not trying. Temps are constant room temperature of 19-23 degrees celcius.

The only strain I've had that was always deep purple, regardless of environment was Blue Dragon. Deep purple, frosty, smelled like grape soda, the trick was getting her hard. A run or two and I had her nailed. Shouldn't have let her go, but I did.

I see alot of pics with very heavy yield GDP
What kind of setup you run?!
i run a sea of green, but mother plants go in 5 gallon dwc buckets..none of the purple strains ive run ade it to the sog table as mothers havnt been producing enough to bother taking clones off of..
