Sick I only vegged for 2 weeks, my plants were stacking a lot of nodes fast with the led so I didnt want it wasting time on nodes it didnt need, as soon as the leaves were out of the node of the second node and the fan leaf is dark green and established seems to be fine.

I agree, the first few weeks are not about the top but under the top. It all about building the roots. Getting a good root mass to start with speeds up the rest of the grow. It doesn't take much longer, about 3 weeks of total time. mine is about 3 - 3.5 as I transplant to a 1 gallon pot on day 14-18. From there you can train faster.

I have some seeds that popped through on the 1st of December. 2 weeks today. I'm mainling to 4 and topping at the third node each time (to spread out the colas). that means we are growing at the same time. I will post mine up in a week.

I know how to achieve the right result but I don't want to start it to find out that I'm gonna have to wait longer than I have to. I only veg for 4 weeks max

According to Nugs, it should add 10 to 21 days to the veg cycle.

I smell a mainline-off !
Let's do this lol I'm vegging mine under a 125watt cfl until my tent is free again. I am hoping in 2 - 3 weeks. I have mine under cob leds and I am adding some far red (730nm) to speed up flowering while keeping the weight.
Ok, someone has to do it so I guess I will have to be the Judge!
You will each send:

5 - 8.5 X 11 pictures of your grow with no more that 3 bud shots.

1 zip of each of your prized buds

They will be judged on overall appearance, fragrance, feel, smoke, and high.

What do you say! bongsmilie

nice I'm vegging under the platinum led p600. pulls 185 watts in veg setting, 385 with bloom, then I'll be adding a 600W MH in a cool tube in another 2 weeks for the last month of veg, I'll be vegging them to 20-22 inches above the soil, a little bit more than the 16 inches nugbuckets instructed.. I have 80 inches of vertical room, and my led and cool tube can go pretty high, and I want a lot of bud.

Day 30 of 12/12

The WR and EC are doing fine in flower. Not sure why I did not get a picture of EC today when working the plants. Oh well will get one over the next few days. Their buds are getting bigger, not as fast as I would like, but they are doing fine.
WR taken today,

I will be doing some leaf tucking tomorrow and may have to remove some of the fans, not really wanting to do that though, so hoping tucking will suffice. The distance between the node was so very short that I never felt comfortable super cropping this plant and she is so short and compact. Her nugs and really stacking. I hope some of her clones make it as she will make a great SOG plant.

I posted this in my journal a couple of days ago.
Some of my clones have taken a dive. Transplanted into the one gallon Hempy buckets on 12/12/15 and they all looked ok at that point. Since then some have just totally gone down hill. Looks like over nutes at first but all were treated the same and over half are doing ok. Nutes were at .25 rate!
Just a couple of pics, more later

.

First three are WR, 4 & 6th or EC and 5th is WR

Update on that journal post,
I lost three of the WR and one EC, when I pulled them from their plugs they still had some roots but they were all dead on top. They may have survived but I went ahead and replaced them with the last four plants still in the rooting trays, one WR and 3 EC's.
Here the clan, 8 WR and 8 EC.20151217_205845[1].jpg
