I believe that if they drink more water than nutes maybe you have a (sorry I am french) blockage...is your ph ok?
There must be an hydro section with pro...you should ask them to be sure...I done hydro 5 years ago so it is not so fresh in my head!
Have a great day ★

Just make sure you underfeed on nutes than overfeed. Keep the pH 5.6 and let it drift to 6.2. Mine, she drinks about 4L a day, and about 2 weeks for my nutes to be all eaten. Next time, I'm going to feed only 2 weeks plus, as I don't think it is necessary, unless you have too much nutes inside or slime.

Also my fan leaves are also dying. I thought this was from the process in flowering anyways? So it's all good.

Thanks for the responses, Ill post some pictures of what exactly the worst of my leaves look like. I understand that the plant should start to draw nutrients from the leaves but im not sure if it should be so early. Its something im used to seeing regardless and is not new to using Cobs.

Thanks

Bonjour
It also looks like water drops...
Very nice looking!
I will have some...when I am going to have more cobs @ lower mA...
But for now the 4 cxb 3590 that I have on 4 hs are in a 3.5x3.5x4.5 and no need more light atm...I am very surprised...and happy...so I am going to try that way...without my Chinese leds...and lets see what happen!
In a few months...
Have a great day ★

Do you normally have your leaves looking like that at this point in your groom, or is that something new you have to dial into?

Hey bruce, are you going to flush on your last two weeks? Because I'm probably going to be still having nutes in for two more extra weeks, and the last week for flush.

I must say this is normal for me, im not sure what the problem is but it happens regardless of hps lighting or led. I flush for like 3 - 5 days. Hydro does not require much of a flush in my experience. Ive chopped harvests with no flush and the product was just as good.

Bonjour
Do you remember what kind of nutes you used in that grow?
I will never do that! I started because I wanted a better product...no chemicals and a nice yellowing (who do not want to see all those nice colors!) Flush for 2 weeks or mini 10 days! JMO!
Have a great day ★

I, on the other hand, never flush. Cant see why, the stuff is stored in the leaves and I think youd have to seriously overfeed them for nutes to be stored in what we smoke, the buuuuds. Then again, I do hempy buckets and feel they finish out the best and most handsomely when fed throughout the entire grow. Im easy on my nutes at all times though. I think the curing and drying and all that is much more important than flushing. And again, Im no biologist nor anything, just my 2 cents. I enjoy your thread :) Hope you are enjoying your light as Im soon ordering some CXB 3070s to make a new little cabinet :) Thank you for sharing.
vous avez tort, Pequeñin Jacub :)

What type nutes are you using though? Organic?

Personally im not going to touch the organics vs the chemical debate. I find it to be a matter of personal preference so i guess everyone should do what they prefer. I mix half the nutrients myself so i know what exactly is going into them.

Hey ben, ive ran my ppms as high as 1500 but maintained them at about 1300 this grow. Another thing ive noticed is there is a very broad range of tolerable conditions for the plant. Ive never done any 2 grows the same and ive consistently been around the 0.7 gpw. I think if you get a solid base down for the plants then theyll pull through regardless and with a decent yield and great quality. One thing i must say is these plants are so fucking frosty. My room humidity is always 40% or above never below those thresholds.

I would be intrested in finding out why my leaves do what they do, i think i may be underfeeding magnesium as churchaze pointed out earlier. I might plan a magnesium bump at around week 4 of flower on the next cycle.

Try running your ph around 6.0 -6.2 during veg and 1st and 2nd wk flower slowly drop to 5.6
Adding more mag wont help.Need to unlock it:smile:
Ever thought about using aminos early flower?
Love the CXBs BTW!

Jimmy, have you used the CoolStrate coolers yet? If so, how much and how many watts can they cool? I haven't seen anyone using the COB specific heat sinks yet? Aren't they just a couple dollars more than a computer heat sink?

160 with the Coolstrates and they are working great with the cooling setup we are using.
