Theres a grow in Alberta that has its license but you look at all the owners of said company and its a bunch of Calgary yuppies jumping on the bandwagon early and charging a small fortune for medical grade MJ (no clue if it actually is). Just another get rich quick group.

That's the same story with every licensed producer of medical marijuana in Canada unfortunately.

Looks like tweed is really branching out. Tapping into the dna breeders they will obtain popular genetics and experience from seasoned growers. Dna will make sure tweed follows a quality standard to grow their stuff so the Dna brand doesn't suffer from crappy growers putting out crappy dna weed.

Maybe they will produce meds that will be better for patients.
Maybe they wanted to have highly recognized and popular product to sell to a legal market.

At least they're investing and tapping into experienced growers.

No no no no no....given that we are 18 months into the new "system" and there are not a lot of good things to be said about any LP, the tapping into experienced growers is a crock of shit....I'm pretty sure this country is full of experienced growers who were/are more than capable of producing quality mj. The fact that all of these lps opened with not one being able to reproduce what they sold you last month is unacceptable....learning to grow on the backs of patients all the while charging top dollar for that crap is also unacceptable....instead of being a bunch greedy douchebags, the golden ticket holders should have thought about the patients they were supposed to be serving and not the elusive potential rec market in this country....

I'm just saying that maybe Dna will help them grow better product.
I don't see this as a bad thing for med users at all. Obviously tweed has suffered From being unable to provide meds their customers feel is of any quality in the past.

Maybe this will help them provide better meds.

I get it, everyone hates lp's but it seems no matter what they do, they will always be the enemy around here, even if they take the needed steps to produce better medicine.

Hiring people who could grow should have been priority one....I don't give a fuck if tweed has suffered...they deserve everything they get trying to sell the garbage they do as medicine...

I agree, but just like the newbie section here everyone seems to think it's easy to grow when they start. Some get better over time and some need extra help from true pros.

Personally I don't care about Tweed in any way, shape or form. I simply see this as a move toward producing better meds and using the experience of established breeders to bring better product to market.

It's clear Tweed is t going away and they're preparing themselves through investments to be one of the largest players in any market available to them.

and some NEVER GET IT and people suffer because of that...business like this shouldn't exist.
Hopefully it will all be resolved soon via legalization and people can go back to growing their own and never have to deal with them again. There will be some people who choose to buy instead of growing and Tweed will be there for them.

Maybe, some people will simply run out of their own and need a top up between crops, at least there will be an easy option to get their meds whether it be tweed grown or not.

And that's where the choice of the people should be reigning supreme...CCs fulfill that little corner of the market...why should anyone be forced to buy from anyone? Fuck tweed...they will only last in the rec market until people realize there is better quality on the street.
