@robincnn I like your lights. Do you use them for veg or flower? Do you have a journal I can look at?

I use it as garage light. Have not had the time to grow with it.

Checkout BigYellowCob's grow here. He used APC35-350 with 2x 5000k for veg. Similar power as what I built.

You guys make me dream got a mars hydro 100x3w wanted a 60x5w but shit happens now i see i can diy a led light beating the shit out of led cie and for a reasonable price too bad i didn't tchek this thread before

Around 400$ i got a 2x2 growtent im thinking about one with vinil and do it like a cool tube since i have vent for a cooltube like that i could make them run cooler because im afraid of the heat i can get

The safest most reliable build for that money is probably to run

4x Cree CXB3590 36V 3500K's
1x Meanwell HLG185-1400 [A version has a internal adjustable pot for dimming current][B versions have active dimming with multiple options]

Cheapest cooling is probably either the Arctic 11+ or the Ultra 64's....
Cheap 5v/12v Constant Voltage power supply [I would get a 20 volt Meanwell APC20 and run all four fans in series for 5v power at each]

This thread alone provides you all the info and choices on how to mount or emulate a box/ case or certain mounting technique....

I don't know really. I just like rubbish bins.

And it's really efficient and convenient. No heat issues thanks to the air extraction.

Thanks a lot after watching supra thread i was thinking about the same but i found all piece and delivery for 300$ i yelled at myself when i see the cost to do not have think about it before

Fantastic work. I'm designing something for a 6x12 and I'm interested in what you determine to be optimal spacing. I'd love to see what you come up with.

A 6" fan and filter inside the central bin.Here is how it orginally worked and this is after I redesigned it.
Like so:

The bottle feeds the hempy bucket below . It is perlite & vermiculite 7:1.
My ideal lids consume 115W and an ideal crop is 120g. But the LED strip lighting in the sides of the bin use are inefficient and use 100W.
There are six bins and it will probably cost $1000 to complete all of them 100%.

12v 5A switching power supply to run extra tent fans (for plants)

It runs very cool and plants are loving it.
