4 strains, all quirky/RED stems

If I were a tarot card, I'd be inclined to introduce myself as the fool... XD
I have got-----dutch passion autoblueberry, stitch panama lime, royal queen northern lights, and female seeds, speed bud. All of which are auto-feminized plants... I've them in 5 gallon buckets, roots organics potting soil//
for nutrients... i chose vegematrix despite the gripes of some passionate someones. Full Line. Also some ph up and down. I've been using tap water let to hang out for 24hours previous to use. These guys are in a 4x4 tent, powered by a blackstar 480 full spec LED at 28" Also have a t5 in there. Inline fan taking air out, vacuuming in room air. It's eight days since they showed themselves. Have only watered and hardly 2 times. id say micro waterings. not enough for run off.. Pre soaked soil however. micro watered to add great white to the medium.
First off... Very mixed growth... some with 4 plus sets of leaves showing, some with just a pair or so. Heights ranging vastly as well. The fear set in once i started to see a few things in the past 3 days. Firstly all the stems are very red, some progressing down vein of the leaves, aswell as some reddening of what should be brand new leaves popping out. Every plant has a twisting motion about there leaves, most bending toward the plants center. Growth seems to have become very slow, if not at a stalemate with some of the plants.
---- thanks anyone in advance for checking this out! Help me growkanobi you're our only hope!
Brutal crohns patient here in case anyone understands my standings/passion for success here!

red vein is a issue of N.P K one of those

this is early stage ........so odds are it is N
1 reason can cause this is to wet of soil (slows inlake)

as for watering stick with the simple 2 cups of water every 2/3 days mix with feed at about 50% ( grow and rooting) .........as the plant gets taller and spreads out the leaves u increase the amount of water and power of the feed)

right now the most important thing is getting the roots started so they can intake more ........so the rooting feed plus some grow feed

Oh, I have yet to feed nutes save a 1/24th strength micro (I cup) water a week ago. Just wanted to make sure you were aware I wasn't tossing them in at this point it seems!

If it's weak I'm OK with it! But I can attest, one of four was scrap before I germinated, another scrap in germ, and one growing OK, other is sort of a runt in comparison.

looks normal to me ...... the red stems is just a seedling thing ..... the twisty leaves is genetic and will probably grow out of it ...... they may look like nothing is going on or growing slow ....... they are laying down roots .... the plant has just enough leaves to gather energy for the root system ......... cant build a house without a foundation laid down first

Everything starting to get yet more wavy and tipped up, and droopy, still waiting another day to water! Thanks for all your input, once I comprehend if I'm screwed or not, I'm excited to start a grow journal on these auto's and nutes / led! I will do my best to be a fine listener! :lol:20150619_110814.jpg

lol they are just seedlings :D look ill post a pic of the ones i have about the same age as yours and youll see that they look like seedlings bongsmilie

OK so I am seeing whacky action going on there too! I suppose I'm overreacting. Thought it had something maybe to do with my water softener. Here's Stitch Flash Panama Lime day ten. Sorta droopy with a weird look about its stem. Thanks for easing my nerves tek! Looks like the red stem is peeling off o.o. I stand a swell chance of noobing out everywhere here XD. I'd just feel better if my leaves weren't dragging on the ground! Ty again tek !

give it a shot of water if it perks back up then you know you need to increase the amount or the frequency of your waterings ....... droopy and limp is under watered , droopy with springy leaves is over watered or genetic , also its good to make a habit of picking the pot up and judging by the weight of it when to water , that way if for some reason the plant ever stalls and stops using as much water / nutes then you'll know not to water it until it lightens back up

you have a fan on them ? did it go limp or what ?? maybe you arent watering enough ..... stems shed until they hit flower pretty much after flower everything gets woody
your mix looks like it has alot of drainage / perlite are they in trays ? i would water the top a bit then put some water in the tray and let it wick it up

It's roots organics potting soil, has coco and perlite in there as well as organic nutes, soil has been on the more damp side ~ I had my light backed off to 36 inches or so, think I'll lower it again. Led is misleading to me though... I'll give it another day or so then ~

Hey how ya doing . . . . .

ime . . . .a reddening/pruple . . . (anything other than bright green) of a seedlings stem is an indication the soil is a little too hot . . . . . . I have never had a seedling with any sign of red or purple in it's stem; I've grown countless strains . . . . My auto's I'm growing now got some purpling as youngsters, I know it's coz I over amended my soil!!

Your PH is spot on 6.5 is it??? Roots organic has a pile of stuff in it . . . . .don't feed it for two maybe three weeks dude, imho . . . . . any signs of def. use a weak folia and begin to feed lightly next time . . . .

I recognize the ruffling of the leaf extremities as the beginnings of Ca deficiency (if heat or lack of humidity is NOT the issue) . . . . . try a 0.4EC folia of Ca, if you have it in it's loan form.
