I hope everyone will add pics of their girls - growing, flowering, cured, whatever. CFLs get a bad rap, and they are not perfect, but there can be some solid success with them. Let's see it!

When I first started with my CFL grow, my set-up was a series of calculated compromises, and I was doing the best I could with the space I had and the money I could spend. This is my first grow, so maybe I simply don't know how much better it could be... but as far as I'm concerned, this doesn't suck.

Day 67, 27 days into flower, Casey Jones in a 100% CFL closet (444 watts, so 222 are over this plant):

Hey Humanrob,wat up?Hopefully some others will post up some cfl pics and the haters stay away:lol:I'm always curious how I stack up with other cfl growers.
Here's my Pineapple Express under 12 cfls.I cut the four colas 2 weeks ago then chopped the rest a few days ago.It was probably a 3-3.5oz plant,if anyone wants to know the weight:)

sorry for the size... some type of afghani strain. most trichomes cloudy,id say a few weeks. vegged 170watts cfl/flowered under 330 watts cfl. plant is 26" from the main stem. most overhead bulbs are 23watt cfl's for size reference. EDIT* Day 48 Flower

Day 80, 40 days in flower.

What's interesting about this to me, is the pic is taken with an old (12 year old) Nikon Coolpix 5400, that is "only" 5m pixel -- which was a LOT at the time, but now is the same as my (2 year old) iPhone4 camera. But, my point is that the other day I ran out and picked up a cheap 30x magnifier, and I can almost see the trichomes as clearly with this pick at full res, as I can with the magnifier (obviously, click on it for full res). So, if someone were in a bind and didn't have a hand-held microscope but had a decent camera, they might be able to get a significantly better look than with the naked eye. It also makes good art.

Very nice looking stuff, peeps! I'm about a week from flipping to flower on my CFL grow, hope it turns out as well as some of yours!

im sure it will turn out better than mine. While it smells amazing i wasted to much money on cfl's/electric for what im getting back. Really pisses me off. But its my fault for expecting some type of monster buds from a cfl grow lol. Good luck all!
