And I've fired dozens of employees with cause in Virginia and corporate didn't have to pay a dime in UE.
The shit your preaching is union busting 101 & the same sad song most scabs sing .

You dont have a clue how Unemployement rates are figured for employers & should probably not be in a position to hire & fire without knowing the most basic issues that raise the cost of doing business .

Employers are given a rating according to how many employees they have & how many employees collect UE over a period of time , employers ratings go up or down depending on how high their turn over rate is , employers with low turn over rates pay far less into UE than employers with high turn over rates . the dozens of people you fired could very well have raised your companys rating therefore raising their UE tax .

No employer pays UE based on a single firing , its a summed average based over several year period ,in many cases it can cost a company tens of thousands in extra taxes due to their turn over rates , companies like Shitmart pay the highest possible UE Tax rate.

Instead of paying hundreds of thousands a yr in extra UE tax wouldnt it be a smarter business move to distribute that money to employees vs the state ? Its a win win situation for all , employer gets long term workers who are better trained & a more valueable worker , employee gets a better paycheck & is happier in his job & works better & safer .

You seem to be happy that your able to fire people , with me it was the worst part of my job & i hated taking peoples income from them , i used dismissal as a last resort for long term employees .

Employees have the right to be disgruntled & speak out if their employer is fuking them over but you think they should all be fired , right ?

Let your boss cut your hours in half & see how you feel , let you work for a company for 12 months with zero raise in pay & see how you feel , let your boss hire 4 workers at minimum wage part time to replace you & see how you feel ,but dont bitch or your outty asap .

A smart employer pays employees as much as they can afford & still remain profitable & competitive, knowing that his higher skilled long term work force thats happy with their job will give the business a competitive edge over its competition who has an unskilled & unhappy workforce .

With higher pay comes better employee performance , less down time , less absenteeism, less employee theft , less sick time , lower accident rates , lower employee training costs, for an employer you seem to be woefully unaware of any of these proven methods of corporate profitability .

What do you do for a living where you cast employees aside if they complain ?

Yeah, I'm not a fan of unions, at all.

I've been to dozens of meetings to determine if a fired employee was going to receive UE benefits. I can't remember losing a single one. Apparently, you don't know how it works in Virginia. Nuff said.

Happy? Sometimes. Relieved? Almost every time. If they were getting fired, they had dropped their dick in the dirt in some fashion.

Publicly, damn right. You want to bitch in my office, fine. You go out and do it with placards or on TV and your ass is gone. I'm not paying some asshole that is actively hurting the business from which he/she wants advancement or higher wages. Fuck that.

Former employee? Bitch all you want, loud and long. Active employee? Quit or honor the wage you signed on for when you accepted the job offer. Feel you're underpaid and being passed over for promotion? That's what the door is for.

What do you do for a living where you cast employees aside if they complain?
Never had to fire someone for publicly protesting or complaining. Fired more than I can remember for a litany of reasons. In Virginia, we could fire anyone for any reason we chose in the first 90 days. Mostly absence, poor performance, thinly disguised contempt for the customer...shit like that.

good thing shitheads like you lost this fight over 100 years ago and labor laws protecting workers were implemented despite blockheads like you.

In a feeble attempt to put this thread back on topic....

The employees of the closed stores are being treated quite well.
They are all receiving at least two months pay with benefits.

But of course, I realize that Walmart has become a a political bogeyman...oh no, run away from the evil nasty Walmart monster.
Walmart does not force anyone to work for them.

Some of the 2,200 affected employees will have the opportunity to shift to other Walmart locations. The workers are receiving pay with benefits for 60 days, and those who are eligible will be able to receive severance after 60 days if they wish, the company said. http://www.cbsnews.com/news/union-walmart-shut-5-stores-over-labor-activism/
You're right, that was feeble.

I'm sorry that your family was profiled and discriminated against just because they were white. It's so unfair that their slaves were freed just to hurt them economically.

Goddamn, it's about time there was a "feel good" story floating around the internets.

http://finance.yahoo.com/news/laid-off-walmart-workers-claim-retailer-shutdown-stores-to-punish-wage-protestors-182431409.html

How st-st-st-stupid do these ingrates feel now?

Employers should be able to instantly fire ANY employee who publicly criticizes the company. Why would you keep a disgruntled employee on the payroll? You can protest and we can invite you to seek employment elsewhere. It's mushy-brained libs having their heads filled with pie in the sky delusions of grandeur by other clueless libs.

Support your local Walmart!
Support your local race to the bottom of the wage slave barrel.

Walmart is for poor people and rednecks. Some of the employees don't even have uniforms because the company is so cheap and only about profits. My buddy's mom (single mom) used to work there and she said she would have to clock out and keep working.

Call me crazy but I would rather spend the extra 3-5% and buy from a local business. Most of the time your spending comes with a genuine thankyou. It Feels good to support another small business and not give money to the monopoly, who's shutting down local businesses then supplying your city with minimum wage slavery
I do this every chance I get, even if I have to pay up to a 30% premium. That money feeds their kids, covers their rent, pharmacy bill and other unnecessary frivolities...

Fascism is a form of capitalism, hence the privatization.
You fucking guys kill me with your sock puppet accounts and your propaganda, Fascism , NAZI, =national socialist,
See Adolph Hitler, See Musolini ,the only question that is in play is did the government control the corporations or did the corporations control the government?Or where they merged into one and the same?
Some times called crony capitalism, Not true capitalism,

You need to get yourself a dictionary. Capitalism means privatized infrastructure and productive resources. Every example in history of fascism was characterized by privatization. Of course Hitler called his party National Socialism, politicians lie. That's what they do.

Fascism is a form of capitalism, hence the privatization.

So, is it possible to have a free market based on mutual exchange by individuals representing themselves, without government or government intervention?
