Nutrients

Fertilizer burn on a leaf
Nutrients are taken up from the soil by plants. Nutrient soil amendments (fertilizers) are added when the soil nutrients are depleted. Fertilizers can be chemical or organic, liquid or powder, and usually contain a mixture of ingredients. Commercial fertilizers indicate the levels of NPK (nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium). During the vegetative stage, cannabis needs more N than P and K, while during the flowering stage, P is more essential than N and K. The presence of secondary nutrients (calcium, magnesium, sulfur) is recommended. Micro nutrients (e.g. iron, boron, chlorine, manganese, copper, zinc, molybdenum) rarely manifest as deficiencies.

Because Cannabis' nutrient needs vary widely depending on the variety, they are usually determined by trial and error and fertilizers are applied sparingly to avoid burning the plant.

lol Ok..................And? Every nutrient line provides all essential elements for optimal plant health -- that includes NPK as well as all micro nutrients. And you don't need Silica, bloom boosters, "root stimulant", or a particular brand of soil to do something that any base nutrient line will do and what is largely determined by plant genetics anyway. You do sound like a total noob. Maybe I'm missing something here?

I couldn't find info about the importance of ratio between cannabinoids, and how this ratio affect the experience of cannabis use. from known source. If you are interested, take some time to look for it

Ok if you take a look at OldTimer bloom compounds content, N - 4% P - 2.2% , K 3.3%, here nitrogen is in greater ratio, but in flowering plants require more P and K then N to produce flowers, for this reason you add PK boost. Root stimulant have Manganese in it's content which is important for root production. Silica is not necessary, but it's supportive to your plants by making it stronger, so plant won't brake under it's own weight. I believe you are missing some knowledge)

What I am saying is, if you want to smoke something, that makes you lazy, paranoid, anxious and finally depressed, grow the simple way this big 20-25% THC buds. Personally I prefer to experience positive effects such as, creativity, feeling of motivation to do something, being happy and energetic etc.
please enlighten us as to how you change the "high" expirienced by cannabis by changing the nutrients and adding things like "plant magic" nutrients. Ive never even heard of plant magic but if they make products that produce a "happy and energetic" high compared to a grow with say botanicare products, then we would all like you to explain how and why this is happening.
Sounds like your a wizard, are you a wizard? Are you growing wizard weed?

So now youd like us to research to support your false claims? Hmmm.......

It's not about Plant Magic, I tried a lot of different brands, and I found that plant magic suits best to my purpose. It keeps most strains nice and healthy through their grow cycle, and because bloom nutrients have nitrogen in greater ratio, this plays a big roll in plant's health in flowering! There is no magic behind it, just to find a strain with desired effect, and grow it with out stresses or with as little as possible.

It's totally your choice. I have provided enough info from known sources, to prove that you are just a troll who think if he doesn't know something, it can not exist.:)
No offends)

Dude you copy pasted wikipidia, you havent backed up any of your claims. If you claim you can control the high produced by a plant with the specific nutrients and additives your giving it then back it up. Its funny how you throw your hands up and shout troll because your being asked to back up claims YOU made.

I never said I can control the effect of cannabis, I said that every genetic has it's own effect due to the difference in ratio of cannabinoids This ratio will be disturbed if plant will experience stresses through it's grow cycle.

Personally I would bin this plant and start over, and I explain why.

If you want a good quality cannabis, you need to buy next items.

1.Plants Magic soil

2.Good quality perlite

3. Plant magic nutrients
a) OldTimer Bloom
b) bio-silicon
c) catalyst
d) root stimulant
e) magne-cal (depend on your tap water PPM)
d) bloom boost
With decent soil you shouldnt have to add anything. please tell me why i need a bloom boost, or root stimulant, or catalyst, or silica, or bloom nutes at all?

I have already explained all this, ok I do it again. Root stimulant and catalyst provide all micro and acids, it speeds up growth, I know it because I tried both ways with the same strains. Silicon makes stems stronger also know this from personal experience. Bloom is a base NPK nutrient and bloom boost is needed to increase PK ratio. Yes you right most soils are pre fertilized with all micro, but in this case I prefer to trust the manufacturer and use the additives. Knowing that they are relatively inexpensive, it's not a big deal! But you can use nutrients of your choice as long as you provide all macro and micro.

Not sure what you mean by decent soil, but if it's so hot, you don't have to add any food to it. It will more likely kill autos, and give a very hard time to your photos in vegetative stage. This is why I use lightly fertilized soil

The bottom leaf is almost gone, which indicates that plant can not feed itself from the soil. The rest of the leaves indicates nutrient burns.

@JohnySmith1 is quite right for the things he said.
Tho plant at this age needs nothing than plain soil.
Therefore all you arguments were all off topic.

@Alienwidow You are not even trying to understand what people are telling you. You jump into arguments always saying the opposite not even knowing what u argue about, which makes u sound very stupid sometimes.

You can grow with many different ratios. The whole high P thing is a myth. If you were as experienced at growing as you are at copying and pasting and parroting myths, you would know that. All the buds attached were grown with a 3-1-5 ratio from veg to chop except for the super lemon haze which actually does prefer slightly more P so therefore she was fed with a 3-2-4 ratio during flower. Additionally, I've never had plants break under their own weight -- an oscillating fan does fine at strengthening branches -- silica is 100% unnecessary. And once again, all micro-nutrients for optimal plant health are in whatever nutrient line one decides to use -- base nutrients only -- no additives necessary -- if your plant is healthy, your roots don't require any stimulating.

So what your saying is that you dont need any of that stuff to grow kick ass bud? Exactly ;)
