cheapest way to grow

So basically im fuckin broke and i need a really cheap way to grow haha i just want the absolute necessitys to grow and then i can make some money and invest in more and more stuff. I plan on getting a 4×2×5 grow tent for about $67.00
And all i have is a 24w 6500k cfl for my seedlings so aside from that stuff whats the cheapest way to grow possible, im only growing two plants but if u could include links to products that ur talking about that would be amazingly helpful haha so thank u for any feedback in advance :bigjoint:

Nutrients: Jack's Classic or Grow More Sea Grow. These cost about $1 per plant, per grow. You don't need cannabis-themed nutrients. You just pay a cannabis tax for that stuff.

Lights: Cree LED lightbulbs and PAR38 spot/floods at Home Depot. You can buy 1-2 at a time. You need about 20w per sq ft. I harvested this flowered under those lights at that intensity.

Soil: Pro-Mix HP, Kellogg Patio Plus potting mix, perlite. Mix 50-60%, 20-25%, 20-25%. Add 1.5 tbsp/gal powdered dolomite (but you could probably get away without it. Just feed lightly to avoid salt buildup.).

This documents how I grow. IMO, it's about as cheap as it gets. No calmag. No ph.

You ain't making no money with cheap led and cfl lol!
Grow for yourself and be happy bro! Takes money to make money man especially with weed!
Save 20 bucks a week until you have enough cash to buy good gear, Craig's list has lots of failed newbie attempts at growing, you can do it less than half price like that.

So for your pot, get a tote or some other container that you can use instead of paying for one. Dont cheap out on your light. Thats the only thing you want to spend money on. Craigs list if you can, and get a used setup and replace the bulb when you have cash. If you get decent soil like ffof you dont really need much for nutrients. Domt worry about a tent, do what we all do and screw a piece of 2x4 to the ceiling, just make sure you hit rafters. Then hang the light with eye hooks. 150-200 bucks. If you cant come up with that then dont waste your time.

You can veg under the CFLs, add the Cree LEDs from Home Depot for flower (use 2700-3000 k, maybe 3 of those to 1 6500-7000 k. But, having a cool white isn't critical.).

Good luck.

Your fine. As they grow youll start to find supplies along the way. Solo cup, itll last a couple weeks from germination. So you have two weeks to find a bigger container...big deal. One light, thatll last a week and a half.......big deal, so you have a week and a half to find more little cfls and something to plug it into. A bag of dirt? 15 bucks, big deal, thats bottle money. The one and only thing thatll cost you money is the 4-600 watt hps light setup that youll need.

Well considering i have no money to keep the ones i have going, alive right now im just gonna wait until my money comes in, then im going to just start anew

well, it won't be too obvious for the first few weeks if you cover them properly. you could probably try to hide the seedlings with a few other plants until you get decent lights.

Im not gonna be having any money for about three weeks though haha and once i get that i got a setup planned out for about $303.55 not including nutrients but thatll cover a grow tent, a carbon scrubber inline fan combo, 400w hps light setup, 10 northern lights seeds, and fox farm ocean forest soil and like u said with that i wont need nutrients for a while so ill get money before i need that

And that should keep them satisfied for quite a while right? Am i missing anything?

Ya you wont need that carbon filter for a while either. Just in case something else has to wait.

If it is only going to be a couple of weeks, I would keep the seedlings you have now and veg them until you can buy a proper light. You could use those weeks to top and train your plants, and when you have the money for you light, you will already have plants ready to flower.
