I'm curious if the withdrawal limit before reporting is a cash withdrawal or does it pertain to all types of withdrawals?

I purchased another house last year and took out a $12,000 cashiers check with no questions asked whatsoever.

@hellmutt bones the government wants you to 'rat out' others like yourself, the have-nots, your own people..and they have you doing it under the guise of 'doing business'..yet they are watching, always watching.

you know what's messed up about this? it used to be deposits of $10k..now it's withdrawals on $5k? what's up with that?

they don't ask you anything, now. everything is computerized and they just pull the info from your account..they're doing it on the sly.

i put in over $10k last year..i could see the teller filling out the report..she said nada..you are now being ratted on in the place you give business to..and they thank you by reporting you to the government.

when i filed them out it was by hand, the customer has nothing to do with..doesn't have to sign or anything, i would prepare after the customer left.

i'd consider whether or not banks deserve my business.

I agree it's pretty invasive. But the counter argument would be the obvious; if you aren't up to no good, what's the problem? Yes, I know, that's not much of an argument, but I'm playing devils advocate here.

I recently bought a lake lot and got a $15,000 cashier's check for earnest money - with no questions asked.

  1. What does “cash” mean for the purposes of Form 8300?
    For purposes of Form 8300:
    • Cash is money. It is currency and coins of the United States and any other country.
    • Cash is also certain monetary instruments - a cashier’s check, bank draft, traveler’s check, or money order - if it has a face amount of $10,000 or less and the business receives it in:
      1. A “designated reporting transaction” as defined in Treas. Reg. section 1.6050I-1(c)(iii) (generally, a retail sale of a consumer durable, a collectible, a travel or entertainment activity) or
      2. Any transaction in which the recipient knows the payer is trying to avoid the reporting of the transaction on Form 8300.

Well then @TBoneJack there's the answer.

If you haven't filed one of those out, you are being paid outside the scope of the IRS, otherwise if you filed out that form and signed it, you made an agreement with your, "purported leaders". End of discussion.

Irrelevant. You ignore the fact most people don't fill out these kinds of "agreements" based on any actual consensual basis. They do so to avoid punishment. Therefore duress is created. When a do it or else situation is created, none of your magic papers were agreed to in any kind of a real agreement.

An agreement to be valid must not be made in a threatening unilateral fashion or it is no different than dealing with any other thug.

You've failed to refute my arguments and are limping badly, I can see why you would prefer to end the discussion.

You've also failed to answer my questions, because you can't.

Up to no good? Like thinking you own yourself and don't need permission to transact from the overseers? Not picking enough cotton and getting uppity? What do you mean when you say, "up to no good" ?

who was made less free by civil rights laws, and how?
Any one that owns property prior to the government usurping their property rights was made less free. Prior to the usurpation they were not compelled under threat of force to interact with somebody. Hint - when any entity forces you into an interaction, you've been made less free. Since one of the components of freedom is freedom of choice / association and control over your OWN property.

You fail to distinguish between a person, albeit a racist asshole that remains on their property and an asshole that doesn't.

When you direct the use of another person and their property, you have lessened their freedom.

I have to completely and totally disagree with you. I think, unfortunately, we have no solid foundation for an argument here. We are so far apart in logic that we are spinning in circles. Let's agree to disagree. So for all intents and purposes, you win. Ok Rob Roy? You can walk away with your head up high because you've won an argument. I am sorry it is likely the highlight of your day, but debating with you is like debating with a pebble, we just simply won't get anywhere.

"Up to no good" = criminal activity. Not sure how that is unclear.

What on earth does picking cotton and getting uppity have to do with anything? Stay on track Rob.

Anyway man, it's been an absolute pleasure trying to engage with you. However I must confess, I am very bored with talking in circles, we are simply too far apart in logic to continue.

I've answered your questions to the best ability one can. Your questions are riddled with fallacies and over exaggerations and you simply ignore my responses all together.

Let's put it this way, you are posting in this forum because you are trying to get people to see your way of thinking and you are trying to convince me [and others] of your way of thinking. Luckily you have fellow Klansmen/Militiamen who see your point of view, and that is fantastic for you. However you failed completely to convince me of your way of thinking and most outside observers reading this thread I suspect share the same view as I do.

So you go ahead and take this argument and all the other debates we may have in the future. Your logic is so far off base with mine (and most people's) that I don't think we will ever agree.

That is all. Enjoy a life filled with hate and oppression.

I don't "win" because our logic is mismatched. I win because your arguments rely on rationalization and contradictions, mine do not.

You rely on conflating arguments and fail to answer questions.

I'm not a bigot and your saying I am is a distraction. I am far more peaceful than you, and your distractions won't change that.

You advocate systemic force, I do not. When your arguments are based in something wrong, its like trying to polish a turd and make it shiny. Yet, it will still be a turd.

Thank you for conceding. It was never in doubt.
